Thete isn’t the infrastructure in Australia to develop world class players. We don’t even have a national academy to bring players, training together. Players go overseas to largely sit on the bench.

Great win by the Aussie Womens’ Team over arch nemesis New Zealand. Just wonder if some attacking players are charging in with head held high towards the face/forehead of the defender. Maddie Levi’s red card might be a case in point.I understand the onus is on the defender, but I wonder if this is becoming a tactic that reaps massive advantage tothe attacking team in terms of playing the rest of the match with one more player
Any thoughts on this? Levi was actually sent spiralling backwards, not the attacking player.
