Goodness. This just leaves a real bitter taste in my mouth. Pretty hard to see how we actually improve as a rugby playing nation in the next 4 years for our own world cup…let alone 2 years for a lions tour…

This makes me so sad. I’m actually so disappointed in the shambles that has been 2023. I also feel disrespected by Eddie Jones, who has come in, with great fanfare and lots of promises, offered little, given us little explanation for crazy decisions, and then from all reports hasn’t even wanted to stick around. It just really makes me sad.
Especially as we’re on the cusp of an exciting few years…where does this leave us now? Who honestly would want to coach the Wallabies, and want this job?
I’m just disheartened.

Tough on him though, he’s been in the role like 3 months, and inherited an absolute $h!7show, I hope he has the capacity to turn the ship around.

What a poor end to the careers of such servants like Michael Hooper and Quade Cooper. Not only were they not given the opportunity to end their career on a high, but the players they were dropped for, barely performed and offered little. What a kick in the pants for them. They definitely didn’t deserve that.

Yep, I’m definitely heaps comfortable with the losing. I’m particularly comfortable with the part where we lost the Bledisloe for the 21st straight year. I’m definitely super optimistic! ????

I’m done with Petaia to be honest. I’ve seen all I need to see from him. For all his ‘x-factor’ he’s unreliable, has poor decision making and positioning. I think there are other, more reliable options.

I’d love to see a back three of Marky Mark and Kellaway on wings and Campbell at fullback. I just feel like we already know what we get with Banks…and it’s fine, you know? But I’d just like to know how Campbell would go. Give it a crack. Same goes for Marky Mark. I know they’re both untested/unreliable but this is a good opportunity to see what they’ve got. We know what we’ll get with Wright, Banks and Petia…give the others a crack and who knows? They might surprise us.
