Yes the Wannabes won 2 WC and good on them but they were lucky! I can’t recall the Abs losing to them at the WC in fact the ABs have won all their games against the Wannabes!!! This current team of Wannabes are very young and in-experienced-although lucky, lucky wins over the Boks and the ABs have shown they can play abit of rugger. Don’t be suprise when the tough games comes along and thats when the pressure will be on these poor young Wannabe players.
It would be nice to see the Wannabes knocked out early say at the pool stage so that PM Julie can call an election early! Mr. Deans has done a splendid coaching job and results are important too. However Mr. Deans knows his team lack depth and experience. Can’t wait for the WC to start! ABs to win .lose the WC! Go the ABs!!!
It's the minnows who make the World Cup shine
Super, super player of exceptional talent and skill. I’m pleased the Warriors picked him up and quickly too. Mr. Johnson has that X-factor ability and fine attacking skills. I;m sure hes gonna be a fine kiwi test player in the near future. Well done!

There is some truth to the reasoning that should the unfortunate happen and the ABs are knocked out in the Quarters then the WC winners don’t need to play them.
This is absolutely true! however if the draw goes according to plan then there could be an ABs and Wannabes final!
The WC is there for the ABs to win/lose. So bring it on!
How the Wallabies can win the World Cup
Mr. Henry has picked his ABs team to play Tonga and this game promises to be physical, hard yakka and competitive in the first 20-25 mins. After which as we would expect the ABs should cruise to a comfortable win!
So lets just get in behind the ABs and support them!

Despite being favs the ABs recent losses to the Wannabes and Boks have only increase the pressure to succeed. The WC was always going to be the major target for the ABs to capture and now the reality of it has arrive and time to perform looms large! Good on the Wannabes they certainly took their opportunities and won well over their arch-rivals however their youth and in-experience may count against them come the big matches. The Boks will top their group and are down to meet the ABs in the semis however we can’t underestimate England or France!
THe WC comes down to only 5 teams capable of winning the WC and its there for the ABs to win.lose. Go the ABs!!!
Why the All Blacks don't like their draw anymore
The ABs have an impressive home record of 92% success rate and are playing the WC at home. Eden Park is their Fortress with 34 games undefeated in 17years!
And have an overall 82% win record against all rugby nations! The WC is the ABs to win/lose however the threats from other competing nations are the Wannabes, Boks, England and France.
The Wannabes are only a very young team and have had lucky wins over the ABs and Boks. Only hiccup is the Wannabes don’t have depth, experience and a reliable goal kicker! The scrum and forward play remains a weakness, far too loose while Mr. Coopers tackling ability is a worry! The Boks are past their use-by-date and looked slow, tired and worn out. Not a positive sign at all but the Boks will be competitive to a degree.
Probably England and France pose as sure threats as current form really doesn’t count for much. England have the uncanny ability to unsettle and disrupt the Wannabes and no doubt will do so again should they meet. France will cause a stir and are unpredictable. The French running game is exciting and if things go their way could deliver a major suprise despite their recent form showing.
My pick would be the ABs and Wannabes final at Fortress Eden Park!

World Cup is on for the Wallabies, and the usual suspects
All this news about Channel 9s treatment of rugby just strikes as unforgiveable and sure this stuff should’ve been sorted out zillions ago but how it dragged on. To tell the truth the league is only a minor sport played in 4 countries competitively. Its own League World Cup is a laugh! The NRL is a great comp but by international standards doesn’t rate either! It only has its strong following in Oz thats it!
So bring on the RWC!
