How have they performed against the top 3 NZ sides home & away this season ?
Squeaking home against the worst performing NZ side hardly points to being competitive come international rugby

Brumbies end 15-year drought against Crusaders as 80th minute penalty try seals remarkable finish

Instead of number 9 out of 10 in tier one.
Amazing stuff.

'Everyone was dogs': Junior Wallabies roll up their sleeves to beat Springboks in TRC as rising fullback scores twice

Haha funny, I didn’t know it was wind up Tuesday

Super Rugby shows that the Bledisloe Cup isn't going anywhere - one selection could give the Wallabies hope

It would be valuable insight to know the value of RA & the Wallaby brand prior to Hamish & the value today. We all know it would be a damaging statistic.
The fact he hasn’t bought in private equity is equally as damning on his performance, amongst the well documented other failures.
Surely any CEO lives & dies by the value of their company/brand & creating uplift, not a complete obliteration of value that will have a lasting effect for decades.

He has presided over a complete failure to secure the revenue injection needed to turn things around quick smart, which private equity would have done.

Hanging on to the premise the financial benefit the lions tour & world cups will secure for the future of the game in Australia can’t be trusted if he is in charge.

The Wrap: What will the Wallabies' external season review reveal that we don’t already know?

Seriously who would coach the wallabies after the train wreck McLennan & Eddie created.
1. Fire Rennie & payout contract $$
2. Over pay an over hyped psychotic coach
3. Drop key experienced players who would provide continuity to the next wave of talent therefore loosing their IP at a critical point in the cycle
4. Butchers any hope of making a RWC semi final revenue earner through the easiest draw Australia is ever likely to have
5. Scare off private equity through arrogant narcissistic leadership
6. Dilute any future position of strength when negotiating media deals
7. How much has old mate Hamey cost RA ?

Completely agree change is needed, but strategically so as not to butcher the finances or culture so you can’t attract the best coaching talent post RWC 23.

I don’t know any company or business that would not have fired McLennan by now, his actions are negligent & devoid of a strategic ability to read the room.

'You don't go back': Deans distances himself from Wallabies return as he echoes Waugh's comments on Jones era

Just bring in the current all black coaching panel excluding Ryan

They turned around a poor all blacks, they would turn around the wallabies

With a bit of larkham, thorn, cron, fisher

Now that would be impressive & surely fosters ultimate 2 finger salute to NZR would be winning the Bled for AU.

Now thats a funny proposition.

'I'm so pissed off': Eddie open to walking away from Wallabies if it suits RA, sticks knife into Hoops, Quade

Who claimed they were favourites ?

Having the talent to win has no bearing on how much you loose by if you loose.

You can have all the talent in the world going into a World Cup, be badly coached, select players out of position, not turn up mentally & get belted. Which happened to NZ in those tournaments until they worked out how to play tournament rugby.

SPIRO ZAVOS: The moment I knew Irish curse would continue, and why Southern giants still rule the Cup

Oh bollocks
They had the talent to win 99 & 03, they were badly coached, poor selections & mental prep made them chokers, same as Ireland. As an example you don’t go from thrashing Australia mid year to a semi final loss against the same opposition unless you become predictable & easy to pick off

SPIRO ZAVOS: The moment I knew Irish curse would continue, and why Southern giants still rule the Cup

Ireland were predictable.
They set themselves up to be picked off & they were.
Farrels lack of experience as a World Cup coach & playing a few old fellas too long bit them hard. They read too much of their own press.
The all blacks had the same issues in 99, 03 & 07. You could probably throw ‘19 in there too.
Ireland only have themselves to blame.

And whinging after getting a gob full from Ioane is the pot calling the kettle black.

SPIRO ZAVOS: The moment I knew Irish curse would continue, and why Southern giants still rule the Cup

Assume best mate Hamish gave him the green light given firing him would cost so much.
His position with RA is untenable, he would have been fired.
Win win for all.

Next should be old mate for the reputational damage he has caused RA in front of a global audience.

Keeping Rennie, making a quarter or semi, developing players & team culture, handing over to a new coach with some level of continuity is a stronger proposition for the future than the hand grenade he dropped on rugby in Australia.

REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach

E & H brothers to another mother ?

COMMENT: Eddie must be axed if he can't beat Wales - or the game will be in deep trouble in Australia

Getting pumped over a win against Georgia is almost as ridiculous as NZ’s reaction to loosing a game

Remember us? The soft reminder the Wallabies remain a RWC threat - and the one selection headache for Fiji

Unfortunately a lot of fans are tuning out who do care how long it takes & want a more entertaining product with referee decisions they understand.

No fans
No media deal
No money
No players
No more rugby

RWC News: 'Losing three biggest academies' - Eddie's truth bomb for ABs, Poms' 'horrendous' fear

Nice write up
Positions 1 to 4 will come down to the top 2 inches & ref on the day

Good luck to all

Packs Power Rankings: Boks' 'bomb squad' edges France, injured Wallaby who Eddie can't replace

They played against 7.5 men at Ellis park & Mt smart ?

'Seriously': Ex-Scotland coach calls on World Rugby to 'act' on Springboks after 'abusing bench' against All Blacks

They had just lost 2 in a row to the AB’s, one at their spiritual home.
Neither team has the wood on each other, it’s been like that for a very long time, nothing has changed

'Seriously': Ex-Scotland coach calls on World Rugby to 'act' on Springboks after 'abusing bench' against All Blacks

Agree most likely a one off to win a game they were desperate to win.
They know they can’t be the all blacks if the game is even remotely fast.
The last quarter in both previous test matches between them they were punished by NZ.

The all blacks were fresh of the boat & there for the taking, SA delivered a strategy that optimised the circumstances

I doubt they would do it again with big trophies on the line, not some token sponsors cup.

'Seriously': Ex-Scotland coach calls on World Rugby to 'act' on Springboks after 'abusing bench' against All Blacks

Agree
Rugby would also be more appealing to watch & fans would hang around
At the moment it’s lost it’s way
It used to be a game of skill, tactics, speed, endurance

'Seriously': Ex-Scotland coach calls on World Rugby to 'act' on Springboks after 'abusing bench' against All Blacks

Can’t see many fans sticking around to watch 8 man rugby, unless you’re South African.

'Seriously': Ex-Scotland coach calls on World Rugby to 'act' on Springboks after 'abusing bench' against All Blacks

I would prefer Wayne Barnes
IMO he is number one & lets the game flow
He makes mistakes same as the players

World Cup Top 10 Power Rankings: Wallabies' missing piece, ABs still possess super power, and why France edge Ireland

Agree
Ireland were very good at it last year & SA have been doing it for years.
The All Blacks don’t seem to be able to adapt to slow play, they completely loose their rhythm.

World Cup Top 10 Power Rankings: Wallabies' missing piece, ABs still possess super power, and why France edge Ireland

Quite the write up
Almost like SA just won the WC final
The AB’s had 6 days in London
SA had 3 weeks & a game against wales
SA had everything to play for
2 losses on the trot to NZ, one at Ellis park
They got smacked in the first 20 in Auckland & clearly wanted to make a point, which they did
Congratulations to them
No team will beat SA with 3 yellows

How SA come out of games against Ireland, Scotland & Tonga is yet to be seen, no easy games

It’s a long way to the top for every team in this WC

Should be an absolute cracker

WORLD VIEW: All Blacks suffer 'grisly' fate, 'pummelled into submission,' as stunning Boks deliver a 'monstering'

Obviously a bad night at the office for all blacks.
SA had the benefit of an extra game up north last week, they wanted revenge for that first 20 mins in Auckland, they had a point to prove & proved it, well done. The AB’s were never going to win 3 in a row against SA.

For the AB’s, they needed a loss, they were complacent & deserved get a punch in the nose, which the got. They won’t be complacent come quarter final time.

'It stings, it hurts ... we got exposed': All Blacks alarm bells ringing after Springboks dish out worst EVER defeat

“Eddie Jones has returned fire with fire against French counterpart Fabien Galthie”

Now that’s funny

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Eddie makes four changes in final pre-World Cup hit out, Suli and Foketi named

Not sure whose mindset is funnier, the kiwis or people taking media articles seriously & taking the time to have a small minded swipe.

I believe Shag & coles like to do a bit of fishing & like a good laugh.

'Cancel his citizenship!' PM weighs in, ABs 'gobsmacked', as Hansen explains why he's helping Wallabies
