Thats right. Hes been training there for ages.

The raiders can score but must defend better and win games through the forwards.

Paulo and Boyd leaving mean nothing to me (as someone who watched them week in week out at Canberra stadium). Paulo didnt do much in the trial last night. Should he have?

NRL 2019 season preview: Canberra Raiders

Do yourself and the public a favour and resign, Langer.

I was ok with Langer as a batsman. But im not ok when he opens his mouth. Im not ok with the seemingly nepotistic old private school boys ‘shape’ he is trying to imprint.

Im not ok with #elitehonesty and phrases such as ‘the truth is a BEAUTIFUL thing’. As if he is the gatekeeper of decency and which he always upholds (without question- never doubted) like a shining light. Shepherding. Forthcoming. Honest. Elite.

The Australian team he has now is a joke. Some new selections are highly dubious. He has a ‘pup’ of a team. But by the same token im not sure he’s a good coach. Let’s see what ‘crazy eyes’ can enlighten us all with during his time.

Cricket's successful formula - players play, coaches coach, selectors select - and never double up

Langer has crazy eyes

Justin Langer furious over Glenn Maxwell questions

That’s because you aren’t invested in it. Im the same with AFL. How homogenized is that?

Too much sport is never enough…

If Rocky Balboa can change, so can cricket

Langer will bring us the glory days

In the face of public anger, Australia's selectors finally back down

Maxwell has to have done something. Not his personality? Has he had run-ins with Greg Chappell? What has Maxwell done?

Also, Im a little bit sick of Greg Chappell. Has he done anything good in cricket outside of playing it? And those responses from Hohns are interesting.

In the face of public anger, Australia's selectors finally back down

I grew up watching Dean Jones, Border, The good West Indies, Warne, Ponting, Heydon, McGrath etc.
A lot of these guys were known for drinking and smoking and whatever else off the field. They weren’t all angels. And nor did i care. Still i do not care.

These ‘guys’ are known for being amongst the best to ever play the game. Those guys were good everywhere on the field. Marvelous.

Did they want to win? I think they did. Did they win. I think so.

They are the benchmark in my opinion.

You pick and choose your role models from anywhere. Not just sport. You’d have to think a lot of players from the BBL are ‘role models’ for youngsters these days.

As a young bloke, i always had older blokes as role models. Is that wrong?

Why are Australian cricketers so uninspiring?
