Its like you have never bothered to look at fosters resume before making these comments. Surely you have looked at his super history, his success, his international experience before taking on the ABs? He had no success at super level or experience at int level. His was an old boys appointment. Then his picked assistants failed a review yet he kept them. Finally forced to eject them, he took razors assistant and had Joe parachuted in. Almost all the successful debuts and position switches were made due to injury. The guy has been under pressure but for a lot of reasons. All credit to him for getting the team to this point, and I’ll be happy for him if he wins. But many will still be happy to see someone else take over and there’s nothing wrong with that.

How offensive to suggest that a team playing for their own motivations, ie every single team, is ego driven and by suggestion selfish compared to the white knights of SA playing selflessly for the poor kids in the street. I’m sure the SA players will be donating their match fees to charity, as Im sure they have been for the last 4 years as this has been the claim forever. It’s condescending and rubbish. He basically claimed the match hinged on the fwd pass. The chiefs even got the ball back after that before saders scored. He questioned the 3 clear cards which for a neutral are 100% correct calls, plus no mention of ALB red no-call.

Oh please. What’s frustration got to do with it? He was warned multiple times and on his goal line where he knew any infraction would be a card. Its a simple calc, not worth anything with any risk. But he took the risk, misjudged, and so was binned. Hes a pro. This is his living. Frustration should have nothing to do with it. The AB cap you would think would have the discipline to be smart under pressure

There must be something the player group see in him, but just compare his demeanor talking to refs with barret, whitelock, savea. He’s obviously asking questions but he plays it up hard done by all the time, unlike the others who ask questions too but then nod and agree and let the ref know they accept his ruling. He just doesn’t have the same surety and comms as those other guys. He must make up for it in the talks we don’t see but if he’s going to talk to the refs at the wc he should model the others
