Exactly right mate – I hope we all get some answers in the end.

Hi there, nope only players in the top 25 would get 100 grand minimum. Also see all your points above re origin. They’re fair.
If I was NRL CEO for a day
Yeah definitely fivehole – the 100 grand would only be for players in the top 25 squad.
If I was NRL CEO for a day
You seem like a knowledgeable and passionate rugby league man yourself Oikee. Maybe you should run for the IC. Judging by the comments i’ve read from you over the last couple of months — you’d do a top job.
If I was NRL CEO for a day
Definitely right – PNG deserves a team as well. Well pointed out crosscoder.
If I was NRL CEO for a day
You have to remember that not every player is paid 600 thousand a year. In fact very few are.
If I was NRL CEO for a day
That’s a good point re the AIS. Not exactly a moment to make 75 thousand go wild but important all the same. I think December 2 when FIFA gives us the world cup (I’m feeling confident) that could kick start things again and last for some time.
Today is the most important day in Australian sport
It’s amazing how complicated it’s all got.
Also I’m chucking it out there – John Aloisi’s world cup qualifying penalty is for me the most important moment in Australian sport.

Is that really where happy as Larry came from?
Today is the most important day in Australian sport
I didn’t say it was. It was just an example. Melbourne is the undoubted home of sport in Australia. You only have to be in the city 5 mins to realise that. Wasn’t it though more petty for VRC officials to ban Archer because he won? Sounds like sour grapes to me!
Today is the most important day in Australian sport
That will be interesting for sure. They were great days with the Diva. Do we really have a “people’s horse” this year?
Today is the most important day in Australian sport
Definitely provided hope and distraction in times of national/international trouble. That’s what I love about sport.
Today is the most important day in Australian sport
There is a great yarn in the book that recalls Bradman saying that his 334 wasn’t his best innings because he gave up a few chances. He said the 2nd test at Lords in 1930 where he scored 254 out of a total of 423 was his best and most technically sound. What an amazing man!
Today is the most important day in Australian sport
Too right Brett. They’re an unbelievable source of knowledge.

Haha thanks for the support jiggles. I don’t see too many people at skilled for a-league games which is shocking given the team they have. Also i don’t believe the Titans will ever be destroyed but AFL want to be top dogs in all their markets and there is only so much corporate dollar around. The titans can’t afford to be complacent as they are no longer the only ‘big’ team in town now.
The Suns and Titans are set to go to war
G’day Brett. I also think that’s the case, but I wouldn’t put it past the AFL to be a bit more combative.
The Suns and Titans are set to go to war
For national news channel’s like myself at Sky News and also at Fox Sports News – AFL has been the lead all week.
The Suns and Titans are set to go to war
On a completely different note M.O.C. why don’t gold coasters like or support (I don’t know if the two are different on the coast – in that you may like them but don’t go to games) Gold Coast United in the a-league?
The Suns and Titans are set to go to war
Tine will tell Oikee, Can you use the crystal ball for lotto numbers? The fourth at Randwick? That would be helpful.

Hi Sam,
You make some good points, but if his kicking game is his best aspect then the Dragons attack is in trouble. It should be an extremely good part of his game, but not the best part.
Will you be cheering if Dragons win Grand Final?
Hi Aidan, thanks for the comment mate. I say the season was farcical because i truly believe that the Storm should’ve been playing for no points but their opposition also should’ve got an automatic 2 points and you can apply that retrospectively if you like (so before the news broke) To have teams finals chances ruined by the storm was a joke
Will you be cheering if Dragons win Grand Final?
Just ask Manchester CIty!
