That is because Green was coming of an injury and a change in bowling technique he was noticeably worse in that series alot slower and less accurate. He is bowling alot better in this series he is a good bowler he just needs time any bowler would be the same if they had to go through what Green has had to do.

FLEM'S VERDICT: 'Cummins-like' Green and brilliant Lyon leave England 'rabbits in headlights'

That’s true but if he can average 1 wicket per innings for the series that would be a job well done.

DAMIEN FLEMING: Aussie batting strategy and venue twist give England a puncher's chance

England desperately need stokes to help with the bowling they were very average last tour. They have a better bowling unit this time but they are still missing a top quality pace bowler that is very important in Australian conditions. They have Mark Wood, but he hasn’t really been highly rated in test cricket and he gets injured all the time he will probly get injured in his first game. Teams that have had success in Australia have usually had a top ranked pace bowler in the team.

So true plus Rugby has a bigger world audience and a more competitive World Cup.

Introducing The Roar Rugby Project: Your turn to help forge a thriving sport for all

I would love Rugby to start thriving again in Aus they have could be so much more competitive with money and fans. Korobete and Folau have been top tier players in Rugby. I reckon current NRL players like Jake Trbojevic and Josh Addo Carr could also dominate in Rugby. It would be the same if NZ focused more on NRL they could be a much more competitive side. Australia has always dominated the Rugby League even if they lost a few current star players and young junior star players to Rugby the NRL would still be a very competitive league.

Warne can no doubt be very hit and miss with his opinions , but the thing he does get right is his willingness to speak about issues that don’t get talked about enough. Like what he said about Starc and his recent test form maybe Richardson would be a better option.

It's time to break our exhausting addiction to 'What Warnie Reckons'

What about Herschelle Gibbs?

The best South African Test cricket side since apartheid ended

Warne is right Starc’s recent form has been average. In the last test series against India he could only manage 2 wickets in the last 2 games and 1 of those wickets was Saini a tailender. Richardson can give the team more consistency.

I hope Inglis gets picked I just think he can go at a higher strike rate then other options that can be really handy batting at 7 with the tail it could give the team an extra 15-20 runs. Maybe Wade could match his strike rate but Inglis is a better wicket keeper.

I watch plenty of Rugby but it’s hard to watch when games are dictated by penalties not skill.

'Sh-t, this guy is nuts': Eddie Jones has a book out and of course it contains some absolute gold

I don’t think he has much to complain about England get away with a lot in rugby especially in England and his complaining about the Wales defeat? Aus, Nz and RSA have no chance against England at home completely biased refs. Players like Owen Farrell can shoulder charge and Australian player illegally preventing a try and get a talking to any other team gets red carded no question.

'Sh-t, this guy is nuts': Eddie Jones has a book out and of course it contains some absolute gold

The thing that kind of edges Inglis as favourite for me is he can go at a higher strike rate then Paine and other wicket keeper options. Considering the wk is usually batting at 7 they usually have to do alot of batting with the tail and going at a higher strike rate could give you an extra 15 or 20 runs. His glovework is basically 1st or 2nd best in Aus. I would be very disappointed if someone else like Carey ,Wade or Phillipe get picked instead.

'Extremely concerned': Paine takes 'mental health break' putting him OUT of first Test with career in doubt

I just wish Australia preferred Rugby over NRL would make the super rugby more exciting and the Wallabies squad much stronger. Folau and Korobete have been top Tier players in Union . Players like Jake Trbojevic or Josh Ado Car would also be dominating in Union. Could you imagine the Wallabies backline being White, Cooper, Trbojevic, kerevi, Korobete,Folau/Ado car,Beale. That’s would be an insane backline.

Haha yea I guess you will just never know.

Paine's 'shocker': Warne rips into skipper, delivers harsh verdict on Khawaja, Starc ahead of Ashes

Paine's 'shocker': Warne rips into skipper, delivers harsh verdict on Khawaja, Starc ahead of Ashes

Cummins is a good T20 bowler his just had a poor preparation comming into the the world cup he will be bowling even better in no time I have seen this happen to him before in the IPL he comes in rusty maybey off injury and no game practice and noticeably worse then about 4 after games his in rythym and taking important wickets usually early as well. He also adds handy runs if he has to bat.

MATCH REPORT: Buttler blitzkrieg sees England hand Australia 'an absolute hiding'

Cummins bowling in the IPL once he was in rythym a few games in was awesome taking heeps of early wickets. He is a good T20 bowler his just had poor preparation comming into the world cup he will come good his just screwed himself over by bowling no balls usually something he doesn’t do often. He also offers great runs at the end they can easily hit 2 quick sixes his last 2 seasons in the IPL his batting was good and he had a great strike rate.

MATCH REPORT: Buttler blitzkrieg sees England hand Australia 'an absolute hiding'

I really don’t get the Smith hate I can understand dropping Wade especially given Inglis is on the bench. Smith is a world class batsmen and selectors screw things up by making everyone bat out of order. I have no doubt at all Smith will comeback in this world cup they just have to change the top order around and not having Smith batting in the 2nd over.

MATCH REPORT: Buttler blitzkrieg sees England hand Australia 'an absolute hiding'

Was just saying that could be an option for the sake of not making so many changes but I do agree I would prefer Marsh.

MATCH REPORT: Buttler blitzkrieg sees England hand Australia 'an absolute hiding'

What do you mean most of his T20 innings his either opened or been 1st drop. In his most recent T20 tournement he opened in all of his matches and had some of the best innings his ever played in his career he got a 100 and a few other very high scores. The problem is the top order and No one getting off to a quick start for Australia. That is exactly what Inglis could do in the powerplay. Smith and and Maxwell can handle the spin at 4 and 5 . I’m not saying that Inglis couldn’t do a really good job at 4 he has had success in that position. It’s just that he could be more useful higher up the order with Smith and Maxwell to handle the spin.

MATCH REPORT: Buttler blitzkrieg sees England hand Australia 'an absolute hiding'

He hasn’t done anything to special but could still play in the side it’s just that Inglis has to come in and his also a better wicket keeper , but I guess you could still have Wade instead of Marsh.

MATCH REPORT: Buttler blitzkrieg sees England hand Australia 'an absolute hiding'

Changes need to be made Inglis has to come in Agar has been solid. I’d like to see this lineup in the next game.
Inglis
Finch
Marsh
Smith
Maxwell
Stoinis
Agar
Cummins
Richardson
Hazlewood
Zampa

MATCH REPORT: Buttler blitzkrieg sees England hand Australia 'an absolute hiding'

Exactly given that Stoinis and Marsh are kind of similar players I rate Stoinis over Marsh.

You've been Warner-d: Davey sends a message as Australia smash Sri Lanka

Mitch Marsh also has a a better bowling record then Maxwell and Stonis with a better strike rate and lower economy then Stoinis and around even with Maxwell yet hasn’t even bowled 1 over yet in both games.

You've been Warner-d: Davey sends a message as Australia smash Sri Lanka

Stoinis has been good with that bat at least with a better strike rate then marsh and it’s a bit unfair on him to take a lot of responsibility with the ball as well. if his just used as a 6th bowling option he plays that role perfectly in the side.
