No DO’s are employed for RA. In 2009-2014 NSW Rugby community team were but they’re now back under the state.

EFF – go and talk to Bob Hunter (RugbyWA) about community rugby in WA. It is supported by RA and not Twiggy. Twiggy has his own agenda and it’s not about rugby or the eastern seaboard … just closer ties to Asia and especially China. COVID-19 has provided the WF with the opportunity to demonstrate their relevance – who knows what 2021 will look like – probably an internal SR format with NZ (if travel restrictions are lifted); can’t see SA or Argentina involved, so here is there chance!

Won’t happen. Rugby will have a TV rights deal signed with Fox, locking out free-to-air for the majority of rugby lovers. Castle was looking at a whole-of-game media package that would have brought the game together – now we’ll have more of the Foxified narrative led by Kearns, et.al.

SMI – NSW country-based DO’s are good people employed by NSW Rugby. They are visible and do a great job in their local communities (schools and clubs)!
