The support the Swans get in Melbourne disagrees with your assertion.
Seven talking points from Round 3 in the AFL
To be fair, it’s hard to coach two teams at once. And give him some credit, he just got a win over the Tigers the day prior.
Seven talking points from Round 3 in the AFL
Nice write up. Well done slipping in prognosticating 😁
Seven talking points from Round 3 in the AFL
Pretty sure Swans finished 3rd in 2005 and 2012 as well. Ideal spot.
The Sydney Swans are back with a bang
Onya Pete, you’re now an honourary Swans supporter 😁
The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 3
So Sydney are the only team that loses players to fit others in? Just because it gets magnified, especially in his twilight years, doesn’t mean it’s not overstated.
Buddy boost for the Swans
Absolutely love him. Shows how strong that draft is but also how we nailed it, with Paddlebum clearly more developed than the six players drafted before him. Blakey aside, we also got McInerney at 44 who is looking great on a wing and adding much needed pace.
James Rowbottom is the most underrated young player in the comp
Swans should win but Crows have a good record at the SCG. Also a bit funny that Gulden’s name was mentioned as part of the experienced forward line. Certainly played like it.
Buddy boost for the Swans
How could I forget. Might as well as write it into their contract when they sign at the Eagles.

Save for some junk time goals, it was almost that margin, just for the other team.
2021 AFL season: Round 1 preview
Gulden is already a cult favourite. What a debut performance!
AFL Team of the Week: Round 1
Excellent call on Hickey. He’s not a Gawn, Grundy or Nicnat but he’s not expected to be. There’s no coincidence that when Naismith was healthy we were a better team. Sinclair is all effort and I love him for it but he’s more forward than ruck. If TH can produce that or close to it most games, our young midfield will develop cohesion pretty quickly and allow JPK (and Parker to a lesser extent) to not be so relied upon to get the ball out of the middle.
And West Coast are our go to for rucks – Hickey and Sinclair as well as Ball and Seaby before them.

Lay off the turps then come back with something a little more coherent.
