Representative jerseys and local bragging rights go on the line tonight when the Gold Coast Titans travel north to take on the Brisbane Broncos…

The Broncos can hardly put a foot wrong at Suncorp tonight – and whenever they do make a mistake the Titans are all too quick to hand possession back. Simply, Gold Coast has been woeful, which makes it hard to tell how good the Broncs are really going. Hannant and Thaiday are making metres like it’s child’s play, and Norman and Wallace seem to have all the time in the world to decide which thoroughbred to put in the next hole that opens. Possession is 60/40 with pushed passes costing Gold Coast dearly, especially coming out of their own end. Scott Prince showed intent running the ball early but couldnt build on that with his mates turning over too much ball.
Sure, Gold Coast could come back here, but as always there are too many ifs ands or maybes. Brisbane should streak away with this one.
