Agree Pablo. Even many Tiger fans blow up over Castagna’s contributions. My only criticism of him is that he can at times not pass off to a team mate in a better position. But his forward pressure And speed is elite. If he has a big day, he has the potential to kick 3 or 4.

The players who'll surprise you this finals series

Thanks Larry! Long time reader, Short time contributor!

Richmond versus the field: Can anyone topple the Tigers in finals?

Take a look at the free kick stats Wass, Tigers every year have the worst , or close to worst, free kick differential. Doesn’t seem to stop them.

And that’s why they are consistently on the wrong end of free kick counts.

I’d forgotten about that Pete. Dusty looked shot, and a few of the other blokes were a bit green round the gills that night. And Cox played like an all-American, dah I mean all-Australian!

But what about all those “home games” at the G, like theTigers get?

My predictions for the 2020 AFL season

Richie, Magpies are well placed. They did just what they had to do to get past Cats, and the hamstring whisperer over in Germany will sort De Goey by GF. I suspect they will get past either GWS or Bris at home, and they have proven they have incredible depth. The Tigers have a much tougher assignment in the prelim. Still hoping for a Tigers Pies GF!

Who was the biggest winner from Week 1 of the AFL finals?

Pete, you’ve been saying all year the faves of Richmond.

Who was the biggest winner from Week 1 of the AFL finals?

I like it! But instead of Bull Dragons, how about Drag Dogs!

The death of a Sydney NRL club is inevitable

I would rather be Collingwood right now than Richmond. Clearly the easier side of the draw. I expect West Coast to dispose of the Cats without too much trouble, and then a massive game v Tigers. Could go either way that one. By the time that side of the draw is finished belting the tripe out of each other, I’m not sure how much the eventual winner will have left for the Magpies (who should account for Bris or GWS you’d think).

From flag favourite to dark horse: can West Coast still go back-to-back?

Should’ve really put them to the sword PtS. The narrow margin didn’t really flatter the Magpies.

I think Dusty got more coaches votes. Just saying that Dusty seemed to have more impact. 51 touches are great, if they contribute to an outcome.

Nine in row: Tigers loom large in September

Pete, I thought Dusty’s 21 touches were far more impactful than Lachie’s 51.

Nine in row: Tigers loom large in September

Gotta be kidding Don. Rance out all season, Riewoldt for 10 weeks, Cotchin missed 6-8 weeks, Prestia and Houli both out for extended periods early.

Big Mason has had a couple of good games against the Tiges!

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 19

I didn’t see the GWS Hawks game. But can’t understand how they must have been so bad- particularly given Hawks weren’t much today!

Five talking points from AFL Round 9

Yeah me Too! Awesome, and the mighty Tigers got the chocolates.

Five talking points from AFL Round 9

Yeah, WC ranked a little high for mine.

AFL Power Rankings 2019: Round 6

I’m sick of seeing the Tigers go over to Spotless and losing by 2 points. Should be more like 80 this weekend.
