Footy Fix: Bad blunders, unsung heroes and THAT Nick Daicos moment - the 232-second story of another Pies-Blues classic

plenty of time for any team to have a small block of losses and still hit form and get on a roll , as you rightly say blues have played good opposition and your best is good enough.experienced players comeing back to make big difference.pies best game so far

Footy Fix: Bad blunders, unsung heroes and THAT Nick Daicos moment - the 232-second story of another Pies-Blues classic

who did you pick rowdy pies or bombers, if bombers give yourself a perfect score as bombers and media all agree bombers won that game,,haha

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions, Round 8: Showdowns, QClashes and blockbusters galore - but who wins?

i watched the game but missed that incident, ihave no answer as to why exept the ump being abit antsy.part of the game we have .over easter in one game a player was asked to stand three times without penalty iwouldve thought 2 maximum but nothing.

AFL News: 'Given it my all' - Crows great announces retirement, big-money Blue 'not hard enough'

im not 100%sure ( im living dangerously here)but i think willams was best on ground in two and very good in the other of his last 3 games against pies at giants, buckley added $200k per year to his worth by letting him run free.

AFL News: 'Given it my all' - Crows great announces retirement, big-money Blue 'not hard enough'

if ump wanted player walking away to stand mark seems ump may have been acerting his authority,i.e i will set the mark not you

AFL News: 'Given it my all' - Crows great announces retirement, big-money Blue 'not hard enough'

afl get rightly criticized for to many rule changes so its up to players to decide now is it.as many have said a draw is a result people just dont seem to understand that

AFL News: North OF Melbourne? McGuire's bold idea to rejuvenate Roos, Scott slams sub rule after Anzac Day drama

seen sullivan for first time on tv a couple of weeks ago against blues vfl. he looked afl level from first minute really liked what he showed, really hunts the ball and his field kicking was great in that game.thought he may have been a late in yesterday but not to be look forward to seeing him soon

Footy Fix: The best Anzac Day classic since the first one confirms the Pies are back... and the Bombers are for real

Mitchell is an interesting one, i thought pies looked for him too much as the handball recieve in tight yesterday as a quick kick out of trafic would have been better at times,he is vital to the team and has done some great jobs but if hes not in best half dozen players on grouund he quite often is in the poorest half dozen, pies dont have any replacements for his role so ithink we will see the pattern continue through out the season,he has bounced back most times after hes struggled so big game for club against blues comeing up and wouldnt surprise to see him have abig impact again.p.s mitchell not the only poor player yesterday.

Footy Fix: The best Anzac Day classic since the first one confirms the Pies are back... and the Bombers are for real

not saying you will charlie but pies also worry me with such type of opponents, those kind of upsets been going since footy began .meaning lower ladder positioned teams not just pointing out north and eagles

Footy Fix: The best Anzac Day classic since the first one confirms the Pies are back... and the Bombers are for real

acers has really been a steal for the blues ,dont think anyone would have forseen how good/ important to the blues hes become,my favorite to watch in that list though is boyd, he reminds me of backpocket players from back in the70/80s hes very tough and the rest of the team no exactly what they will get from him, will be even more atttacking in the future

Forget Cripps, Curnow and Walsh - the unsung Blues heroes driving Carlton's premiership push

ishould read all other posts before commenting next time all pretty much same theme .ithink the blues best team in it this year so far and to continue on and beat cats in a great game,

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions, Anzac Round: Who takes the biscuits on the season's longest weekend?

i could get you a seasons ticket macca,ha ha.enjoy the game

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions, Anzac Round: Who takes the biscuits on the season's longest weekend?

pies are comeing into a very serious recruiting phase in next two years for the long term future .im hopefull with current admin that they take the path that you suggest and avoid the hollywood style of previous recruiting .not saying that is smith himself but the hype from media will once again be circus like.smith does have off field probs aswell as being a very good player so hope he gets back playing and happy somewhere

AFL News: Scott hits out at 'offensive' Tribunal call to clear Cameron, Pies to swoop on star Dog?

all the best to murphy ,very important player played in away others couldnt for the team .look forward to seeing him healthy and happy in future years .

AFL News: Pies flag hero announces concussion-forced retirement, Larkey confident North can turn season around

agree on jones .has his limitations but seems to be doing it all on his own .id have him at pies right now if he was available .plays with a lot of grit which i think dogs are lacking from some others

Footy Fix: How the Bombers brained the Bulldogs - and Bevo - with their most brutal nine minutes in a decade

maybe we need a new word .PREMORSE

AFL News: Players Association slams 'double standards' in Finlayson ban, Cats to weigh up Thomas lifeline

a good example of people seeing what they want to see i think .

Umpires' anti-Ginnivan bias has reached a new low - it's time for the AFL to step in

agree pete , wasnt a fan of his blatent ducking early on at pies and i was embarassed by it ,a young brash upstart was my opinon of him , however found myself supporting him more as the afl/ umpires and wider football public put the blinkers on .sometime he duks others he doesnt .

Umpires' anti-Ginnivan bias has reached a new low - it's time for the AFL to step in

i didnt watch the game ,i would lean to the battling team on most games wether thats off field or on, plus dont know in this case but also seeing youngsters giving their all .i dont hate any club so enjoy my footy more than when i did have hatetred for some clubs

Six Points: Commonsense solution to score review influx, and why this star Tiger should get two weeks

we have the duddley street bridge in west melb that seems to get hit by an oversized vehicle every other day .supposedly brings the whole road network into chaos according to our news services .ha

'Bad blood': Swan sidelined after alleged dispute with teammate

frampton will/is gaining a bit of respect peter they way hes going .not a star but i can see much more imrovement in him as season goes on

Footy Fix: The worst grand final rematch ever just proves the Pies have slightly fewer problems than Brisbane

i was waiting for mason to call it quits in the third quater but he stuck at it physically all night and his game was a very workman like effort without the possesions for four quaters ,he wouldnt go away ,frampton can hold his head high so far this year .confidence and belief look much better this year .something i think was a focus from coaches over summer as he has more ability than what he showed in grand final .

Footy Fix: The worst grand final rematch ever just proves the Pies have slightly fewer problems than Brisbane

yes i agree has a long way to go ,i should have clarified that he looks much more confidant in his own ability at the level now after not being gifted games on the hype early on and went back to reserves to learn.cheers

Six Points: Papley's hypocrisy, Wright's Tribunal verdict the wrong call, and why are we retiring Pendlebury?

not sure if beveridge is the one to take dogs to next level but has to be acknowledged that he didnt rush ugle hagen and bow to media pressure to play him and made him wait to develope dispite the media trying to beat up a storm about it ,hes been vindicated and may well be the same with young darcy also

Six Points: Papley's hypocrisy, Wright's Tribunal verdict the wrong call, and why are we retiring Pendlebury?
