I aggree re the mix of youth and experience. Not sure why we have been labelled as an aging squad.

Individualising each player rather than looking at the combinaion of the two misses the point. Together they give us the equivalent of three players. Soldo the height and spring for centre bounces and Nank the body on body ruckwork around the ground. Add their ability to go forward and create options with Balta means we are more flexible. Against Carlton Solda didnt have is jump timed and that let Carlton always be pro active at the centre bounce. Basically with the six six rule if you get ruck dominance at centre bounce good night nurse, assuming your opponent has a high quality midfield to take advantage. Soldo gave us that advantage against GWS. He had his jump right and got over the top of their ruck which allowed us to be more pro active.

No tricked up game plan required, we just have to play it better than our opponents. We were cooked going into last season right accross the club.
