Rassie gave his reasons for the video. His call was not returned. Many incidents in the video as Rassie himself said, could be ignored in the flow of the game. But there were some interesting incidents that were worth considering. My main concern was the boofhead who considered it his responsibility to bodily lift a player with a potential neck injury off the ground out of the play of the game and before the injured was examined by a medic.

I agree CPM, but I don’t think that will work. The BIR played some impressive back line combinations but were unable to penetrate the Bok defence.

Well if you were that observant Neil Back, please point out the items on the video that did not require a comment. Faf’s spear tackle? Kolbe’s interference in the air? Just as an example.
Your knowledge of Rugby is obviously very limited.

As an example, was Faf de Klerk spear tackled, or wasn’t he? Was Kolbe interfered with in the air, or wasn’t he? And none of the 3 match officials on the ground commented. Yes G D, I fully support Rassie.
In his video he gave his reasons for presenting the video but none of the posters have mentioned his reasons.
He has too much Rugby experience for his actions here not to be beneficial for the game of Rugby. For starters, it will prevent a similar fiasco to the one experienced in the 2011 W C held in NZ where Bryce Lawrence reffd the semi final between the Wallabies and the Springboks. That match was so bad that Bruce got expelled from reffing all together..
There are 4 Rugby officials for test matches. They are in communication with each other. If a major infringement acours the Ref should be notified. For allowing the flow of the game, leave the minor decisions to the Ref.
I consider Rassie’s actions more beneficial to the Game of Rugby than they are detrimental. The British news papers agree with Rassie’s opinions..

The only thing that happened last night was the fact that the Springbok kicker, compared to his kicking record, completely lost his ability last night. Completely.
However, enjoy the victory. It was well deserved, and the Wallabies are very fortunate to have such staunch supporters who have stuck with the Wallabies through difficult times. Good on you.
