I got as in standing between two front row Crusaders and All Black front row Yoda was one and it was (at the time playing for the Crusaders and my home town) so looking at them holding (here it’s a long neck there it’s a bottle or 750) and as a guy that “used to play half back or right wing” standing in between these guys wearing Canterbury colours… I asked “what’s it like being in the front row?” they both laughed holding a beer in there hands and picked me up off the ground and I didn’t spill a beer… I had a full pint and they said finish your beer we’ve got you…

As a kiwi in sydney and I feel for the wallabies as we as roar readers and commentators vent our frustrations when we’ve seen how good they can be but it’s the odd occasional game. They used to be world 2 or 3 and now 7th? I don’t know what Chieka is doing and I can’t see any proof he knows himself apart from emotional and excuses like blaming the ref.
I want the fear of ABs v Walkabies back, I want the this will be a f’ing game back… I don’t want the wtf are the wallabies doing frustrations or the coach on post match presser comming across as almost um yeah we lost but “out enthussed” and curiosly never once have iI herd him mention respect for the oppersition?

Agreed this is huge for us and signing Akira. Having an ex ABs coach to mentor T is a great move as is having Leon.

Yep samu is out but he’s a 6 not an 8 so who’s cheika got next? Especially since hes the sole selector which imo is dumb.
The Boks have had 5 players recalled back to their clubs so it’ll be interesting to see who’s in for them.
Lastly the Ioane brothers have re-signed with nzrfu and the blues for I think 4 years. So we’ll have probably one of the best wingers in the world in the ABs and hes only 21…

I’m sure all coaches have used the term.
The players need to have an honest session with each other and explain what wearing the jersey means to them… not just think I’m paid well regardless of the result.

I doubt you’ll see him stay on the wing waiting for the ball… Depends on the game plan that Chieka has.
Most teams know not to kick to him and imo he’s defensively weak… So I expect Argentina to run at him.

Hanson has said that he considers wings and fb are inter-changeable. So if Chieka believes the same thing then does he also believe the players have the skillset to do it?
Ben Smith might be a freak that’s able to do it but I don’t see Folau able to… Especially on D.

The suggestion of Pocock getting targeted is getting old.
For the Boks to win they’ll have to look at the break down and without Pocock it’ll be up to the cap to step up and they also know to look where Folau is before kicking. Also see how running at the inside channels around the rucks goes.
If the Wallabies can get parity in the forwards and the backs have their heads up I believe they have a good chance.

I still wonder who is talent spotting for the Wallabies? Sam couldn’t get a place in a starting team until the Crusaders picked him up and now is in the Wallabies but seems like will hardly get game time? and now there’s Ta’avao (allthough has played for a few teams eg the Tahs) is now an AB?

As someone that used to leave next to jsde stadium and go off to the lank or embankment… The Crusaders deserve the stadium they want… Sure make it multi purpose with a roof… How many titles do we have to win?

I doubt Jake White would want to be the coach if any of the current Wallabies have any say. Mainly due to the fact some of the players would worry they might get dropped and RA said they want Australian coaches.
