I think they are so confident with their defence they are happy to hand over possession knowing they are chance of getting it back in a better position on the field.

Reds snap 25-year drought in Christchurch to beat Crusaders as Wilson, Ryan star

I don’t understand so many of his decisions but geez it made for entertaining rugby

'Heartbreaking': Blues sink Reds with post-siren try after rising star scores epic hat-trick

For a former league player suli is really shit at defending.

Mate I’m so glad I looked at the date prior to posting a similar response to yours ????

EXCLUSIVE: Schmidt to appoint David Warner as Wallabies leadership consultant

Ummm yes. Not sure I disagree with you. And thanks for explaining the role of a 12 to me. I just don’t think Paisami does it well. But hey I’ve always preferred the second 5/8 role rather than simple hard running.

And yes I suppose we are all forming opinions from the sidelines with varying degrees of experience playing the game.

'It was brutal': Clutch Lolesio kicks Brumbies to 'Test match intensity' win over Reds as Wright shines again

I thought Nasser was great. Just think faessler is in line for WBs jersey and hoping he is not injured

'It was brutal': Clutch Lolesio kicks Brumbies to 'Test match intensity' win over Reds as Wright shines again

Yes true. Probably more of a comment that it was one-on-one defence rather than created by an overlap.

I think it’ll be Gordon or Donaldson. Lynagh probably plays the style that he wants to play but is probably 1 or 2 yrs off international level.

And some poor defence? Neither was an overlap and a low chop tackle would have been enough rather than a body tackle.

Campbell should have easily made that first tackle. And I think McDermott was caught out not trusting paisami to cover his man on the second try. Either way very good solo effort from Wright.

Faessler got subbed early. Did he have an injury?

'It was brutal': Clutch Lolesio kicks Brumbies to 'Test match intensity' win over Reds as Wright shines again

I think this has some merit but he isn’t very big. Paisami just doesn’t seem to gel with the structured play. One step too far, isolating himself and losing momentum. Doesn’t fit with the build phases and get quick ball mentality.

I’ll be happy if Lawson never pulls on a qld jersey again. Was at the game and exactly when he needed to step up and direct play he was standing 5m directly behind the ruck with the reds forwards getting pushed back with each phase. Very disappointing

Without a doubt you make some valid points but they won convincingly which is good. Next week will be a litmus test and I predict the reds will win comfortably. I see the brumbies playing how Australia has for the last 10-15 years. Which is great against mediocre opposition but struggles against well structured teams that can do the basics well and build up phases and pressure. That is why the reds are playing well and people are excited about the team and hopefully how the WBs will play. But nonetheless very excited about next weeks game!

'Statement game': Brumbies smash Moana Pasifika as Lolesio, Wright and Toole light up Canberra

Not seeing all the rebels confidence. Smashed by brumbies and then wins against two of the lowest ranked teams. Whereas reds have played the two strongest and a tahs team that is performing much better than expected.

The Roar's Super Rugby expert tips, Round 4: After a week where we all felt like Tane, here's to six out of six

Completely agree. It is a team sport and unpredictable players not only confuse the opposition they confuse their teammates. Isaac Henry was classic inside centre tonight. Safe hands and strong running.

'Over the moon': Reds deny Chiefs for 23 PHASES to win 'titanic' trans-Tasman clash as Kiss' revolution continues

Might be controversial but I think Henry and Grealy performed better than Petaia and paisami. Strong running and hands seemed more reassuring than some of what Petaia and paisami bring. Definitely think jock Campbell is the 15 we need at the reds.

He didn’t get sacked. He immediately after an ABs game after Australia came very close to winning. My take is some players behaved poorly and RA took players side and not his.

Cheika's hilariously laconic reaction, Gatland's cheeky Eddie dig, as Argies shock Wales

Wales only looked good v Australia. Goes to show how poorly wallabies were coached.

Not sure he was the “most” unappreciated. He did win world coach year in 2015. A few others probably less appreciated. I’d put McKenzie up there as less appreciated. I’d argue he built the squad that cheika took to 2015 WC

Just like deans and McKenzie. ARU/RA really know how to shit on their coaches. Who the hell would want the job now?!?

REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach

Fijis chances have taken hit with Raynal officiating their match with England.

World Rugby says they won't abandon tier-two teams despite mooted Nations Championships, refs named for RWC QFs

RA need to make a clear statement that it’s not the players. Coaching was diabolical. Poor preparation and poor game plans. I think everyone is focusing too much on selections.

The Wallabies' World Cup campaign was a disaster from start to finish - but sacking Eddie Jones isn't the answer

Can’t help but think any other coach with some international experience could have coached this team into the quarters. So poorly coached for every single game.

Can someone remind me what actually happened? I got the impression some “star” players misbehaved and link was not supported in sorting it out. So he left.

He is a great loss to aus rugby. But principled not to go overseas and make some other nation better.

The town planner who can fix Australian rugby: Wallabies great who RA, Eddie must hope will take key role

He has always played that way. Game plan or not
