Someone who brings up the cyclical argument shouldn’t have shots at people about facts. The “it’s just cyclical” is just the biggest BS excuse ever to cover over that CA can’t develop players anymore nor can they attract talent young sportsmen to their sport anymore.
Cricket Australia are now going to invest money into talent and developing players? Why didn’t they do this before?! Is this the first time they’ve ever had money is it? And you are actually going to trust the same people who got Aussie Cricket into the s***hole it is in now to get out of it? Good luck you mate.
And anyone who believes Cricket Australia statistics is a fool. They are hardly going to come out and say kids are turning away from Cricket are they? Not the greatest PR ever.

Grassroots and Country Cricket are both dying. Kids nowadays are turning away from the sport like never before. The whole system is rooted (why do you think we have such a bad talent pool now? And don’t say we don’t!) The future is very dark.
But keep your head in the sand and believe whatever BS Cricket Australia feeds you for all I care.

This is one of the things that I hate about this hyped up sporting events. People just start throwing rubbish stereotypes around. Where was this extra leg last series when Australia lost by an innings three times? Why didn’t England ever go an extra leg during the 90’s and early 00’s? It’s all just BS!
England in good shape for series that matters
Have a look at the bowlers Tendulkar came up against, whom most where in their prime.
Warne, Ambrose, Akram, McGrath, Muralitharan, Donald, Younis, Walsh, Pollock, Steyn, etc.
Who has Cook came up against?. The only one from above who was in their prime was Steyn. Warne, McGrath & Muralitharan where all near the end by the time Cook faced them. How many great bowlers are there today who Cook as had to go up again? Hardly any.
I’m no Tendulkar fan boy (there’s already enough of them already) but Tendulkar takes a dump on Cook from a great height as a batsman.

I hope Cook doesn’t go past some of Tendulkar’s records. Tendulkar is a far better batsman. Cook is just a flat track bully who’s benefited from playing when the level of cricket is very low. Records should be held by the very best.
