I thought it was funny that Eddie Jones brought up that very point about Scotland last year! Here’s a man that bad mouths & tries to belittle every team that he comes up against & then after being beaten the angst and the chip on the shoulder comes to the for! Horrible little git

Seven talking points from Six Nations Round 4

I’d go
Williams
May Davis/ringrose tuilagi Stockdale
Farrell/Sexton Murray
Mako George furlong
Alun wyn. Ryan
O’mahoney Billy tipuric

Healy, mcinally, sinckler, itoje, stander
Horne, Farrell/Sexton, Davis/ringrose

Probably lack a utility player on the bench but Davis & ringrose both class
Itoje would probably be on everyone else’s team but I’d have alun wyn as captain.
Curry & Wilson deserve a shout in the backrow aswell

Seven talking points from Six Nations Round 4

Professional players and coaches follow the money taylorman, you’re use of the term ‘plundering’ suggests there is no free will involved.
Fact is that the 6n tournament has for years been the most lucrative tournament in the world after the world cup. To expect the 6ns countries to vote to change that is akin to turkeys voting for Christmas. Yer ‘advanced, innovative & skilled’ comps down south funnily enough don’t seem to have caught on with your paying public….go figure!! Of course the sh, like the writer of this article, would love to promote the propaganda that the ‘home’ nation’s are at fault for trying to scupper ‘sh driven progress….just looks like improverished sh unions trying to push through a cash grab to us

The World Rugby 12-team league is a Six Nations set-up

It’s surely a question of choice rather than the nh draining yer resources? As professional players they follow the money and tend to play where that is, no-ones been kidnapped. I’m sure over the years plenty of islander kids have been offered scholarships in NZ schools with the promise of making a living playing rugby that they wouldn’t have got at home. Fact is that the most pure homegrown international teams are Argentina & South Africa and that’s cos international class players are not going to move there to qualify under residency rules

Five talking points from Round 3 of the Six Nations Championship

Bloody foreigners, coming taking our jobs! This is how brexit came about….

Five talking points from Round 3 of the Six Nations Championship

Fair enough points I think. Just listened to Keith wood saying how it’s always been teams reacting to how the all blacks play & coming up with plans to stop them, you can’t say that the rush defence hasn’t been pretty successful in causing nz a bit of discomfort!! Now for the 1st time in our history teams are coming up with plans to counteract Ireland, we’re gonna have to learn & adapt. Our halves are vital to the way we play and at the moment neither are on their game but at their best can control a game like no other pairing. Smith and Barrett are brilliant players but when it comes to steering a team around the field Murray and Sexton at their best are peerless. Whether injuries have taken their toll we’ll see, Murray especially seems to have had a very serious neck problem

Five talking points from Round 3 of the Six Nations Championship

In fairness he was told as a youngster that he was always going to be too small to ever play for the boks. The man is a beast! He’s come to Munster and immersed himself in the culture & now he’s getting to the same level for us as Paul o’Connell & rog were, a legend. They’re gonna change the residency rules and probably rightly so but we’ll take this lad

A Lions team to trouble the All Blacks

The pro12 teams have to try and compete with the English/French clubs without the advantages of huge TV deals. To say teams like Exeter are somehow at a disadvantage to the Irish provinces is ludicrous. The irfu support the provinces but they put strict guidelines on them as pothale said. It’s all about developing young Irish talent now, the residency rules are going to change for every country. At the moment the leinster academy is probably the best in Europe bar none. Here at Munster we wouldn’t have quite the output as them but we’re producing plenty decent young players & are at the moment in the process of signing 3 young Irish players that have been playing in England & France. Still glad we got CJ though, what a legend ?

Is the slumbering giant of the north finally waking up?
