I can only think he will be cover for their backrow. I think Melbourne Rebels should be chasing the next up and coming junior, like they did with Sean McGahan. I do love seeing Samo on the field though….its funny my heart says yes to this move but my brain says no. I just hope Melbourne give it a good go this season.

I think the Central Coast would support a NRL team and to effect I think the NRL should expand here. The Northern Eagle argument is mute, you cant make a barstead legitimate no matter how much you wish for it. I think Perth and Adelaide should be options for the NRL now and later Ipswich, Darwin ,Hobart and possibly Wellington later.
Forget a club, the NRL won't even give the Central Coast a game
Yeah I like it, but cant see the NRL being that far sighted. Rugby League struggles with international games, you will need a strong board with good ties to the corporate world as well.

I have said this for a long time, a mid week Cup would be excellent in Australia to get some money in the coffers. If the NRL had any brains they would have jumped on this ages ago. A Challenge – Type Cup for Australia is an excellent concept and would show case some good teams that the public wouldn’t normally see. Please get this off the ground ARl/NRL.

How about one rule for the game instead of 3. The joke that is rugby league is because there are 3 sets of rules for one sport, a house divided cant stand. ONE set of rules please and no more rule changes, its a sick joke that the NRL and now SL are making yearly changes, you wont recognize the sport in 10 yrs. At some point common sense must kick in and stop the slide.

World Club Series: Exciting times for rugby league fans
The concept of the 9s is for young up-and-coming players, not old guys well past their prime. The organisers want to nip this in the bud otherwise the 9s will go the way of the 7s in league.

International League has a massive future if it could sort out the IRLF. There isnt another sport body that is in such a mess, not even a full time employee! The stupid nation swapping rules have to go and before anyone says its like any other sport (i.e.Union) it so isnt. You will fail to grow the game if you dont have international tests, which I cannot understand why expect that “vested interests” are artificially keeping the international game down. Sponsor’s will come in the IRLF get serious and do away with the completely stupid eligibility rules and have more matches, geez I dont know, maybe an international calender. Finally I’m ashame to hear that Australia wont be playing any test matches this year, thats just plain disgraceful. Surely the ARL could get a team together and play the island nations either at home or away. In this new century, if Rugby League wants to get serious then it better step up to the 21-century professional world or it will soon die due to lack of money, a death which will effect Australia as a sporting nation.
