Rugby Australia are doing the review? Are they taking the piss, they are literally the issue

RA 'committed' to Eddie despite 'bitterly disappointing' RWC campaign, in talks with NZR over northern threat

Better than Kemeny that got to play 2 minutes haha

Wallabies' RWC hopes still alive after wild win over Portugal - but it will take a miracle to avoid historic first flop

Yeah agree, I dont think he is the starting 6 for the wallabies at this point. Maybe in afew more years. Reminds me of Hannigan back in the Cheika era, was probably too passive back at the time but would be a good addition to the Wallabies now

'If you have any poo, fling it now': One final indignity as Eddie's absolute mess of a World Cup campaign nears the end

Gee surely Gleeson could have come off the bench at least

'Fall guy': Eddie doubles down on future, makes three changes as Wallabies sweat on RWC miracle

Exactly, Eddie thought that he was a New Zealander. He had no idea at all that he was Australian

DENIED (sort of): Jones finally addresses Japan job report but a big question still remains

On Eddies Podcast that came out earlier in the year, they were talking about the six nations. Eddie said something about Sione Tuipulotu how he was in good form, then went on to call him “that New Zealander”. Not only did Eddie have absolutely no idea that Sione is an Australian and was missed out by the Wallabies (also wouldnt have made the Wallabies squad at the time) but Sione’s brother Mosese at the time there were several articles about how he had committed to Australian Rugby. How can he just have no idea at all about Australian players? This is also after he was appointed coach of Australia

DENIED (sort of): Jones finally addresses Japan job report but a big question still remains

I know that some sit on several boards but shouldnt the essential leader be 100% in on Australian Rugby?

Yeah I agree the board should be a makeup of Rugby brains aswell as corporate knowledge

SPIRO ZAVOS: My message to Hamish McLennan and Eddie Jones: 'In the name of God, go'

The fact the Hamish Mclennan came out and said he hadnt spoken to Eddie Jones absolutely baffled me. The fact that he thinks that himself and Jones should be there until 2027 frustrates me 10x more than the actual results from the RWC. Mclennan also seems like he is a businessman first before his passion for the Wallabies, did anyone else know that he actually works for 4 other companies at the same time as his RA job.
He is also:
Chairman of the board – REA Group
Deputy chairman – Magellan Financial group
Chairman of the board – HT&E
Director – Claim Central Consolidated
All these as well as his chairman of the board at RA, how do we have someone who is in charge of rugby in Australia that has 4 other roles? Our chairman should be someone who has an extreme passion for Rugby to thrive in Australia and not treat this as just another income. They should have a full knowledge of all rugby systems with the board being filled with exec types and rugby knowledge to lead this country forward.

SPIRO ZAVOS: My message to Hamish McLennan and Eddie Jones: 'In the name of God, go'

Couldnt agree more

SPIRO ZAVOS: My message to Hamish McLennan and Eddie Jones: 'In the name of God, go'

Gday Harry, would love to have a listen, how do we find it?

SPIRO ZAVOS: My message to Hamish McLennan and Eddie Jones: 'In the name of God, go'

And Petaia isnt a bad player, but the bloke hasnt played 13 in about 3 years so so no idea why he was thrust in as the starting 13

SPIRO ZAVOS: My message to Hamish McLennan and Eddie Jones: 'In the name of God, go'

“Rennie had a game plan – give it to Quade, to give it to the half dozen strike runners we have in our backs. Simple, everyone knew it was coming, but no one could stop it”

This is exactly what Ive been thinking the whole time. They would have multiple options out the back and could choose which one of Kerevi, Mark, Petaia or Koroibete would be the receiver. This whole year we have had the cattle but doesnt seem like we tried a single set play

Eddie Jones should be celebrated not booed: Why the worst thing RA could do is sack the Wallabies coach

Oh absolutely agree, he had to plan to Eddies gameplan that did not take into account Quades strengths. He was stepping people silly in the barbarians game not long before this

Eddie Jones should be celebrated not booed: Why the worst thing RA could do is sack the Wallabies coach

Hey Nick, great article. I recently posted this to another thread but feel like it has some relevance here also

There is two parts to keeping/ditching Eddie Jones.
1. Results- absolutely terrible results. Current 12% win rate.
2. Wallabies support and environment. He has created nothing but a toxic environment overall for the wallabies. Many Australians now have a huge distaste for Eddie Jones not only for losing but his mentality with every media conference. He attacks anyone who questions his selections, the send off for the Wallabies from Sydney he told everyone to uppercut themselves and it was the worst presser ever. Why would any Australian want to see this. This should have been a huge positive moment for the Wallabies but yet again it was made into the Eddie Jones show. Watching the Matildas documentary lately the whole environment has a positive culture. All the interviews the coach answers truthfully about the players and the team, there is clarity and positivity. I have never felt more disconnected to a Wallabies team than I have now. This was the same when he was In England, the english fans did not like him and again he attacked anyone who questioned his bizarre selections. Why would we have Jones to lead Australian rugby when he rubs most people up the wrong way. Sorry for my rambling but my frustration is at an all time high. Rennie was someone I fully respected even when we were losing he would address the issues and inform the Australian public on the current state. I felt much more connected to Australian rugby with him at the helm. Eddie Jones is hugely toxic which is only going to spread further into rugby if he stays as coach

With all that being said. Will I still get up at 130am Monday morning to watch the Wallabies. Yes. Will I still continue to support the Wallabies. Yes. Will I support Eddie Jones and the drama show that follows him. No

'We feel lied to and taken for fools' - the decisions (and consequences) of 2023 could haunt Australian rugby FOREVER

Exactly, I think he won every game he played under Rennie? He also looked absolute fire for the barbarians earlier in the year, he was not out of form at all in my opinion

Phil Waugh stated not long ago that not making the semi final would be seen as a failure. We did not even come close, so what are the exact consequesnces from that? Id like to know what happens to the board or coach based on the CEO’s statement

'Bloody disappointed: Wallabies OUT of World Cup as nation to miss finals for first time, Eddie fights for survival

Arnold was a penalty magnet last week, with 4 penalties with 3 missed tackles. I think he may have also ran the ball once for a metre or two. Philip deserves a start surely

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Gordon benched as Eddie banks on Ben Donaldson, star returns for do-or-die RWC clash

Was hoping to see abit of Gleeson off the bench at least

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Gordon benched as Eddie banks on Ben Donaldson, star returns for do-or-die RWC clash

Yeah I get thats what hes trying to do but thats not what a rwc is for. Weve built up a team the past 4 years for this world cup, the time to build for 27 should be starting next year

'F---ing explain some of these decisions': Ex-Wallaby star's scathing Eddie critique, coach defends vision

His injury was 16th July and out for 6-8 weeks so even if it was the latter of 8 weeks he would be fit now. I guess could have returned the same time as Jorgenson :/

COMMENT: Eddie must be axed if he can't beat Wales - or the game will be in deep trouble in Australia

Weve waited the past 4 years as weve rebuilt this team, eagerly waiting for this world cup. We beat the springboks 3/4 times in the past 2 years, also had extremely close games with the top teams while we were ravaged with injury.
Now all of a sudden we are building towards the next world cup? Quade Cooper was our no 10 for this tournament, yet all of a sudden he is completely dropped. Dont get me wrong I love Carter Gordon and think he has a huge role to play in the future, but thats the thing, he should be coming off the bench and starting the game against Portugal to be eased into the Wallabies. Look at the trouble we have now.

How was Bringing Kemeny to this world cup useful in any way? Pete Samu has been proven to be useful in all 3 backrow positions and have no doubt could be this “hybrid” if needed. Weve seen him make many breaks down the wing.

As for Schoupp, he scrummaged well for afew games in super, yet he gets parachuted straight into the Wallabies? Same with Nongorr, he was shown up many times in super rugby this year yet somehow he is playing in the world cup? Same with Tom Hooper, he isnt playing terrible but I dont think he is international quality yet. He spent most of the season injured and had a good game against the chiefs and now he starts every game at 6?

Ikitau would also be fit to play again now too, wouldnt he be super useful to have for this game. Yet we brough with us injured Jorgensen (again I quite like Jorgensen but hes injured and yet to debut for wallabies).

Its these bizarre choices from Eddie that journalists ask legitimate questions and get told to uppercut themselves. Eddie is currently 1 for 7 which is a 14% win rate. Its just not good enough and his press conferences are becoming absolutely cringeworthy to watch based on his results.

Wow, good thing Eddie brought his Hybrid Kemeny instead of a proper utility like Salakaia-Loto
