However if the residency rule is changed to 5 years I think it is a great initiative by Australia. But as the residency rules sit at the moment I’m not a fan of this.

CONFIRMED: Fijian team to be welcomed into the NRC

I don’t know if I like this, although I think in the short term it will be good for Fiji, the sceptic in me see’s this as a blatant move by the ARU to poach the best up and coming talent from Fiji, getting them to play in the Australian system and the best of them one day representing Australia. I hope I am wrong but I have a feeling I’m not.

Be warned Wallabies: Use Israel Folau's brilliance, or lose him

Hi Alan I would say either a more complete rugby player and All Black, or seen as a very good Super Rugby Player until he has worked on everything Hansen wants him too.

Squirrel you know the AB’s are probably only going to be a better side in 2017 right, And if England improve I would say they will have a tepid chance of victory.

Peter pushing a medic is the likely to start a brawl, if Phipps doesn’t shove the medic Maroni doesn’t run in, straight cause and effect there.

Wallaby Phipps shoves Pumas medic in win

Crossfader John is making a pretty big accusation based on evidence which has no link to the AB’s. So yes he may come under a bit of scrutiny for that. If he had said I wouldn’t be surprised if it is rife in Racing metro, he could possibly have an argument (IF) they didn’t have TUES. But the players managers are saying all their paper work was correct and they had TUES So i will wait to see how this unfolds rather than make BS remarks.

Wishful thinking John is far from reality.

Sheek you ask some pressing questions, however in order to protect the islands players it could have the opposite affect what the Fijian coach failed to mention is that more players come from NZ to the islands than the other way around, so in order to stop poaching or what ever you want to call it will have the opposite impact, and in the near future the islands will have less and less to choose from NZ as they will be third and fourth generation New Zealanders so the grandma rule will no longer be applicable. That is when the be problems will begin imo although NZ has developed loads of samoan and Tongan players who have represented the countries of their parents and now grandparents the financial support needed to make Island teams viable in Super Rugby and TRC is not Sanzars Jobs . The responsibility to introduce these teams should sit with the WRO? As the ARUis not in a financial position to do much and NZRB is better financially but is hardly in a position to take financial losses in order to make such a scenario reality. So what you are talking about is a job for World Rugby to answer not individual unions and I would go as far to say NZ is doing quite a bit imo having up to 24 nationals plus others like the Pisi brothers who moved to NZ as kids representing the Island nations during the last RWC.

When is an Aussie really an Aussie?

totally agree BB the lions showed the SB have the players to play an attacking brand of rugby and the rest of the teams hold the grunt I was especially impressed by the sharks young forwards. hopefully one day soon we see the Boks fire, and I hope it is this weekend, good luck to you and your boys this weekend.

The Wrap: Test rugby goes back to the future, and not for the better

I like England as a team Zack, they have a lot to be happy with. They play a different brand of rugby, but seem more aware of what they want to do on the field, and have the players who are implementing a game plan without clutter with a heavy basis set piece and game line dominance imo. I hope this England team is able to keep on improving to such a point next November could be more of a highlight than the BIL tour. I also think that the English tactical kicking is on par with us. plus they also play a 23 man game. But I see the Boks have the most potential for improvement, unfortunately they have a few problems they have to deal with, but sooner or later the cream will rise to the top.

Can anyone test the All Blacks this year?

I don’t see it Zack.

Can anyone test the All Blacks this year?

On what i have seen it will a perfect season, potential banana skin being the Boks at home, there form doesnt watrant that prediction but if the AB’s are too lose this year that is the game.

Can anyone test the All Blacks this year?

Hey Armand, I think it is more about finding a game plan and structures that enable teams to perform at their peak no matter who they play. Some teams seem to be searching for an identity. Australia is finding that running rugby is not exactly winning rugby and rather than being adventurous is quite predictable, you have the boks who have a split personality, with a coach who is only speaking to one side of that personality and looks a bit out of his league at this level. the talent is there but the boks need to embrace all the changes and then the long journey to the pinnacle of rugby begins again. And they only need to look at England to see they don’t have to reinvent the wheel to be successful. I have high hopes one day soon the will embrace the running rugby of the lions with their natural brute force and physicality.

Can All Black dominance make rugby boring?

Possibles and probables thats going back a while TM.

Hey PS BL are a put together team that has little basis on combinations. It will be very hard for them to be on the same page because they have very different ethos on how they want to play the game. I’m not saying the BL can’t beat the AB’s but I will say they have a mountain to climb to do so. Combinations and understanding of your game is what wins test matches all of which the BL have very little of under that banner as history would suggest.

All Blacks aren't waiting for the Wallabies to catch up

To be fair Wozza as a kiwi i have heard how every year is Aussies year. After 13 years you get to the stage were it is don’t talk about it be about it.

The way forward for the Wallabies: Win at Eden Park

But the majority of those games were competitive Ruck, Yes we got the cookies most of the time in that period, But teams got closer to us than 20 points.

Winning Wallabies sink Graham Henry's "worst ever" attack

A bit harsh There Ruck there are some very astute Australian Rugby minds. It is just we miss there passion and enthusiasm for rugby because we are busy commentating on the Parochial fans who are agenda driven. But we all have those types in our ranks Ruck.

Winning Wallabies sink Graham Henry's "worst ever" attack

Connor the worst reffing of the 2011 WC was probably in the QF but keep on with your agenda. In the final France actually had a chance to win but missed a kick if memory serves me correct so if the ref was so biased they probably wouldn’t have got a chance. I actually remember the AB’s believing in their systems and defence which is what won the final not the ref. But I am happy to acknowedge this is only my opinion.

Winning Wallabies sink Graham Henry's "worst ever" attack

Yeah MM Falou is a right wing for me. But the problem with Falou IMO is he doesn’t work hard enough off the ball, and I guess that coincides with his positional awareness.
