And barely a month after promising that they were taking steps towards better funding for the Wallaroos and more investment in Women’s rugby generally. This doesn’t just ignore that one of the grievances was around Joseph Sua’ali’i, it pretty much tells every female player to shut up and know their place. You honestly can’t make this stuff up nor would you want to.

Besieged Wallabies throw lucrative deal at Crichton in bid to lure Roosters star back to rugby - with a Super twist

Spiro, you only need to print this out and find 11 former Wallaby captains to sign it

And thoughts on who appointed the panel Danny?

'Mockery', 'broken game', 'laughing stock': Rugby rages as red card reversal clears Owen Farrell for World Cup

@ColinT.
CA’s current stance should’ve dictated they forfeit their T20 match (and the competition points) against Afghanistan at the recent WC. That they were OK playing against Afghanistan all the way back then, two months ago, last Nov. is in no way hypocritical, not even when considering the Taliban’s “official” ban on women playing sport was made two months earlier, in Sept. Nor is it remotely relevant that Aus was in danger of missing the T20 semis and very much hunting competition points and a positive NRR. Nope, you can’t even convince me of any hypocrisy by contrasting that with these ODIs which are essentially meaningless due to Aus having automatic qualification for the ODI WC. Inconvenient? Maybe. But hypocritical? Yeah na. Let’s just hold our cynicism until India and see what happens if Afghanistan & Australia get drawn to meet there.

Cricket News: 'They'll pick the white guy' - Khawaja claims racism still rife in Australian cricket, Rashid threatens BBL boycott

Interesting the opinions on both sides on whether he should’ve thrown it back or not. Meanwhile it just seems to be accepted that flares are still getting into grounds in the first place.

FA vow 'strongest sanctions available' after 'unforgivable' A-League scenes, Victory fan group issue statement

Or maybe only happens to them. You’d think Smith, Bancroft and their partners would also cop the same rubbish but they seem to get treated differently and it’s really got me buggared why

'Unsafe place': CA provides personal security for Candice Warner and kids after 'weak, gutless' abuse in Adelaide

IDK why she didn’t and get them kicked out. Personally I’d not put my kids into a potentially confrontational situation when presumably there are better trained people to deal with these situations.
But then I want there and didn’t see how the thing played out. Maybe security wasn’t there on Saturday. Maybe listening to MMM tomorrow will provide some answers.

Oooh, bit harsh on the Sussexxesss (however it’s spelt)

'She lost a baby', 'You can murder 25 people and get a trial': Warner's manager's fury as Candice, Clarke, Healy hit out

Comic book might be most appropriate

'She lost a baby', 'You can murder 25 people and get a trial': Warner's manager's fury as Candice, Clarke, Healy hit out

Yes, yes but in that case when’s the book going to be out?
You might say that no one wanted to hear any more of it – you sly dog you – but you know we’ll all pay the book publisher anyway to find out what Davy’s been holding back. Wouldn’t want to have it come out for free through all the media coverage that would’ve over this ‘public spectacle’ – you just can’t earn enough commission from that.

The culture and previously high standards they used to set for themselves seem to have gone out the window. For instance Ardie Savea ignoring the NZRU around wearing a mouth guard and Foster seemingly not doing anything about it or the player ignoring him is a joke. It’s no wonder the on field performances have also become a joke.

Thinking of the new ABs coming into the current set up, it’s hard not to see things getting worse.

There's no way around it anymore – Ian Foster must go

And next to them is the political reporter from Sky News. I hear the guy from the shopping channel is being rested but will be making his appearance soon. Can’t wait.

Phil Kearns rips into World Rugby for Hodge citing

Yep there’s much to said about someone who would crawl over broken glass and be prepared to bleed to play for the jersey especially in a World Cup. SBW, well, he just ain’t that guy.

Selecting Sonny Bill was the right decision for Kiwis

I just hope the June test matches don’t end up stuffing some teams chances with players backing up and potential injuries and suspensions. She’s not over yet.

Any finalist could win a wide open Super Rugby tournament

True, all true. Given the Aust. conference winner this year will likely be in the same position as the Crusaders last year with a sudden death final and then the prospect of having to travel to SA and NZ or vice versa, it’ll be interesting to see who says what about the conference system later in the year.
