Excellent analysis as always Nic. I love reading your articles. The only thing I would question is the assumption on the first video that it was the threat of Koroibete on the left that forced the Argentine right wing to keep his width – I reckon it might have been the winger first sighting Tupou out wide as Kerevi started that run that would have had him second guessing. It always amazes me how much pace Tupou has and his ability to keep up with the backs like that. As a former winger, I can’t imagine what the Argentinian winger would have been thinking (actually I can 😱 ) having to cover Tupou and Koroibete as potential threats out wide and at pace.

Will there be two sets of slippers under the table at number 10?

Great write-up on a great man. I had the pleasure of coaching Chris’ son in under 12’s rugby a couple of years ago and while the thought of having one of our greatest Wallabies standing on the sideline was intimidating at first, Chris was nothing but supportive and very unassuming. But whenever we asked, he would happily step in to help with the boys and his ability to identify the smallest details in technique and communicate it back to the boys in a way they understood was really impressive. I hope he has tremendous success coaching in the US and we see him back in Aus coaching soon.

Super Rugby retrospectives: Chris Latham

Personally, I would rather us win Bledisloe games and other test matches more regularly EVERY year than win a cup once every 4 years and lose everything in between.
