Was surprised at Tim’s admission that he has known for years that the media had the evidence. And that media agencies had contacted him on several occasions, usually at the start of the summer or before a big test series, to basically remind him that they held the info. Matthew Wade is one that should just shut it. He has given interviews stating that he will be playing for the entire tournament and Inglis will not. This despite admitting that he has not spoken to Langer, Finch or George the selector. He sees himself playing the same role as Hussey did in previous world cups. Basing this on his Bangladesh performance. The arrogance is astounding not to mention hardly a welcome to the squad that a senior player should be giving to a newcomer.

I can understand somewhat for those coming back from IPL but the competition was not supposed to finish until the 31 May anyway and they were back in Aus by then with 10 days in Maldives plus 2 weeks in Sydney motels. I do feel for Maxwell leaving Sydney and going back to Melbourne and going into lockdown again. As of today Melbourne are still only allowing 2 people including dependants to visit your home so probably has not even now been able to visit with family and friends where as those from Sydney were basically allowed freedom straight after being let out of the motels in Sydney
