Hope the Cotchin knockers/doubters have been watching! Gets injected wherever and whenever we need his grunt and class and answers the call in style most of the time! Who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. He’s pounced on a couple front and square and kicked team lifting goals and goes in the middle when we’re desperately in need of clearances. Champion! Even in his twilight!

Six Points: Bevo has a month to save himself, and the rule tweak needed to prevent another 'Sirengate'

Chiko roll?

It’s time for Naughton to go down back and stay there.

Despite Luke Beveridge's frantic decision-making, the Bulldogs are on a road to nowhere

He’s forgotten already. Goldfish!

The Fyfe conundrum and the future for Fremantle’s greatest ever talent

Geez, that’s an ‘outrageous prediction’ considering they both signed one year contracts! Both will perform way, way better than Fyfe as forwards this year. So what are you really trying to say?

The Fyfe conundrum and the future for Fremantle’s greatest ever talent

Yep. Three goals from a small forward is more than adequate. Do that every week and you’re close to winning the Coleman.

You just hold that thought, Donald. Wilful ignorance suits your personality. Well done. Ya just can’t help yourself.

The Fyfe conundrum and the future for Fremantle’s greatest ever talent

There ya go. No Dusty in that list. Equally poor delivery into Richmond’s forward line yet he manages over 20 disposals. What a champ . . . in the middle and up forward. It’s okay, Don that Fyfe can’t be as effective up forward. Dusty is a generational player unmatched by anyone else.

The Fyfe conundrum and the future for Fremantle’s greatest ever talent

And may I add . . . it’s impossible to emulate Dusty! No matter who the player is or how good they are or, in this case, were.

The Fyfe conundrum and the future for Fremantle’s greatest ever talent

You are correct in saying players should be more aware of imminent contact and somehow be prepared to protect themselves. Yet it seems a little like cricket where the introduction of helmets has resulted in far more players being hit in the head (helmet) due to poor technique thinking they are protected and the introduction of a ‘concussion sub’. I’m not sure that outlawing the bump will reduce concussions greatly nevertheless it’s time to get rid of it. Goodwin’s directive to his own players will have far greater effect than any changes to the rules. Good on him.

Disparity in McAdam and Pickett bans is just plain wrong, but the bump isn’t dead, and when done right it’s a beautiful thing

Fyfe a forward? Yeahnah. Will never work and can only end in tears.

The Fyfe conundrum and the future for Fremantle’s greatest ever talent

Um . . . yes. Indeed.

Six Points: Kozzie's bump deserved a month off, draws are awesome, and the Pies are officially likeable

Yep.

Because he has speed to burn? Nothing much else going for him i.m.o.

Only to point out I finished above you again!

Too true. His olive branch is akin to the poisoned apple.

Fremantle have been gifted the softest first five weeks to a season that I’ve ever seen. Really, if they don’t win their next 4 comfortably you can draw a line through them. Not sure they have the pace to play modern, fast flowing football. Or the nerve.

Play Naughton down back. A born defender. Restructure the forward line.

He holds himself above all others! Oh to be perfect.

Naughton should play down back. There is part of the solution for ya.

Six Points: Kozzie's bump deserved a month off, draws are awesome, and the Pies are officially likeable

Hmmmm. Maybe, maybe not. Collingwood’s game plan and style though are far, far superior than Freo’s. The Pies are great entertainers, Freo more sleep inducing.

Footy Fix: 10 possessions, three goals and a game-changing five minutes - how 'Bobby Dazzler' sparked a famous Magpie win

Agree with all that Kevo. I was disappointed in Voss’ tactics on Thursday. More intent on slowing the game and shutting down scoring. It takes two coaches with the courage and belief in their gameplan to take things on to produce a game like this one. Kudos to Chris Scott! In years gone by he would have shut this game down after quarter time but he had the nerve to roll the dice.

Maybe it says more about Freo’s gamestyle. Easier to get a kick but results in fewer goals.

You must be a genius, Boo. It’s round 1!
