Test Rugby is about winning. SA managed this to a percentage the last month. Congratulations and well done.
Weather didn’t help today but (there it is) i agree this was not a game for the ages. Too much intervention (and influence) from TMO. If player is adjudged to have made contact with the head of opposing player then, if your concern is strictly for player welfare, that player should surely undergo a HIA.
Was frustrated to hear the words “Use it” (sometimes with a please FFS) then counting in my head to double digits before any activity.
Thought ab’s should have had multiple short arms against them for too long lineout throws in first half.
SA with a backline of that calibre chose to play percentage above all else.
AB’s were the team trying to play positive rugby today but were so far off their best they didn’t deserve the win.
Way, way too much stoppage time happening at the moment. Play the game and get on with it. Bring back the rule where halfback touches ball then play on.

The question at the press conference was not direct enough. Should simply be ” Simple yes or no answer thanks Eddie, Have you had any interviews for other employment since committig to your current role?” If no, thanks, if yes probe further. Maybe i’m just too negative after years, decades really, of the same outcome.
Wallabies having a go, sure. But “the go” is always insufficient and now tiresome.
I’ve seen the blame shift from Eddie to Knuckles then Robbie, Ewan, Chieka with depth of talent thrown in.
FFS enough. This week i jokingly said to kiwi workmate that 2 weeks in a row at Eden Park would see a 50 + to 20 scoreline to the AB’s (how the hell would that pop into my head). I hoped for better and cheered on as always. I’m a glued on fing die hard Rugby man but by God, enough already. The good, the great i saw today was outweighed by ineptitude which was summed up perfectly at 81:47 (or something like that) with the Wallabies unable to win and continuing to have a go, kick the ball aimlessly to the opposition. We all saw what happened next. If you don’t want to have a go, especially after the full time siren, kick the ball out and end the misery for all involved. There were many examples of this during he match.
There were numerous times tonight where the bad just stunk and the good was worth cheering. I’m fing tired. 20 years of disappointment. I rammed home in 2008 to a workmate that in an era of professional sport between 2 teams then there is no excuse for such a long delay in winning. Haaaah,
There is no denying that the All Blacks are one of, if not the best team in the world. Can’t deny how good they are or how good is to watch them but surely a Bledisloe in 20 years must have been achievable. Tonight is probably the first time i’m honestly believing that the next 10 years are heading the same way. That sucks
