Beams and his team mates attempt to chip the ball along the forward line but Melbourne kill the pass.

Kicks truly from 40m and it’s level.

It’s still the same club, considering Heart was a bad synonym for City in the first place.
Hopefully they can bring in Frank Lampard, Mark Bresciano needs to come to the A League, regardless of the club. He didn’t deserve a spot in the 23 WC squad, whilst he is the last of the golden generation he should come to the A League for at least a season to respect the fans. Hell, MCFC can match any Arab clubs wages anyway (without the illegality).
What do people think of increasing the marquee spots to 2? I dont see the point in having foreign players here who aren’t better than locals, so I’d be happy to keep the foreign players to 5 (or even 4) if two players could be paid outside the salary cap.
Hopefully MCFC can be the first Australian team to win the ACL, but the FFA will need to allow clubs with the wealth to use it.
The Heart of Melbourne City are getting the respect they deserve
Lose to Chile, beat the Netherlands and draw with Spain. We need Chile to have a strong tournament to progress from the group.
Win or lose, Postecoglou will do it his way
Adelaide, CCM and Newy do fine with recruitment, and none of those are any better than Canberra.
Surprise results as A-League's expansion teams are decided
Heart of the City!
Better coaches, marquees and friendly games.
A-League wins Villa, loses it's Heart
it was probably the editor. Spain know we have a pretty poor defense, and will pass the ball around until the defence cracks. If we go looking for a draw we’ll get beaten. And I don’t want Australia to park the bus anyway – have you seen the slogan that’s slandered across it!? Not that postecoglou will.
Believe it: Australia CAN beat Spain
You can read more about the Williams’ with an interview with their father Eric Williams, who’s a coach in the Myanmar League. http://www.mmtimes.com/index.php/sports/9893-from-the-gold-coast-to-the-golden-land.html
Australia has two, but what of the forgotten Williams?

Australia has two, but what of the forgotten Williams?
The won by 4 points, NSW couldn’t have played that well and QLD so badly if the difference was so minute. I didn’t watch the game though. Are the teams that far apart in quality that a great NSW side beat a poor QLD side by only a unconverted try?

Why do Sydney get every socceroos game? They didn’t sell it and the ground wouldn’t have been used for grazing. AAMI Park or Suncorp. Had enough of the Sydney Roos.
“But AAMI only has 30k”
Rather a sell out on a pro field than a half filled concrete monstrosity surrounding a paddock.

Where’s Taggart.
We do not have a striker on the field, which wouldn’t necessarily be a problem if our midfielders could finish a breakfast or score in a brothel.

The Brisbane bears/Lions have given the bombers a very tough game. Both sides had sparks of clean footy but neither team could play consistently for any 10 minute period. The bombers stood up for the last 3 minutes – can they make the 8 with these desperate wins?
Sadly Brisbane fans this song won’t be being sung https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Y1WdBXYTnY
I don’t think anyone else will regret not hearing it.
The Lions will be disappointed but they played a great game and against a high quality opponent.
Brisbane Lions: 8. 9 57.
Essendon: 9. 11. 65

The Bombers have had the ball for a near 2 minutes of game time, which coincidentally is how much time is left.
The ball is bombed into the bombers 50, Daniher can’t mark, Lions with the run through the middle but they’re tackled. Zach Merrett finds Ryder. He has a tight angle, steps around and goal!

Collingwood win the bounce and Grundy has marked the ball pumped into the forward line.
He marked like a forward and kicked like a defender, Collingwood behind.
