Are you really trying to suggest that Hooper is as ‘inspirational ‘ as Pocock? Oh deary me ,have a look at the players’ voting in the last John Eales Medal.

Oh yes,that is why the Welsh targeted Hooper from the kick-off and throughout the match. And it worked beautifully from that first moment when the piggies left him on the deck.He is a very energetic Fly-weight.Line-out you say,like U10s use the skinny kid? Comeon! His energy could be great in last 20,but his lack of impact in the other 60 is the big problem. Cheika and Hooper (and Hanigan etc…) have destabilised the backrow since the Clown started.And Pocock remains the outstanding 7 of his generation,,,Hooper is not,As Pocock is not a 6 or an 8.
And it was not Cheika who got us to the Final last time ,it was Link! Look at what has happened to the Wallabies as Cheika has worked his magic…..

Yeah,there’s a reason few would have come up with that thought,,,,Speight is slow and is nothing like a good centre. Petaia on the other hand is already the next biggest thing in Aust Rugby.If he is fit we will ,unfortunately,have forgotten about Kerevi by this time next year. For anyone to suggest he should be played on the wing (roving or otherwise)…well,same draw as Speight taking a centre spot. Reds have a fleet of young wingers, and an old one now. O’Connor was the obvious choice to bring in to strengthen the centres (have a look at his stats when he last played for REDS in an injury plagued season) but Thorn has quickly gone for Meakes,to ensure his recruitment/exclusion selections arent again exposed to public scrutiny.
Speight could be a great replacement for Kerevi
And of course Kerevi is the most devastating back in Super Rugby,but he doesnt wear a skyblue jersey! Easy choice really.

Well,I dont usually comment on legal matters …..but I am fascinated to know how Jimbo knows so much about the finances of the RA and what he declares as the fundamental flaw in the legal arguments,given the various stories surrounding this matter ,including the one that states that Folau was bound by the Standard Contract in accordance with the agreement with the players Assoc/Union.Of course I usually treat what I read in the newspaper with a healthy dose of scepticism. But surely the RA could save some of that little money that remains in the kitty by sacking the expert lawyers engaged and replacing them with ….Jimbo!Sounds like he can handle the Admin stuff as well!

Exactly,you should be very Concerned as to why RA is willing to pay a player with such a limited skill-set that sort of money.Hooper,Beale etc are in same boat. They are not RO International standard .Cheika shouldnt be the only one with head on the block (but of course he should have been dispatched already).

Thats not fair on Hannigan or us.He should never have got near a Wallaby jersey,and nothing has changed.His biggest challenge is staying on his feet as he attempts to get around the field. So,if he is in,all the real talent that has been identified here has been ignored again by Cheika ,and we have our answer about at least one of the new panel or probably both.

Unfortunately,if Parker makes the side Manly are gone. Again,if Elgey plays like the speed-bump he was last year,he can lose 4/5 games he lost for Titans,and Thompson riding shotgun wont stop it. And Turbo needs to improve his D and ball security ,as seen last year. Big ? is whether Des can improve D so that DCE isnt required to make in excess of 20/25 tackles every game.

The coaches cannot build resilience into a team.That starts with the depth of knowledge/skill set each ‘experienced’ player can rely on in their position. Cheikas pikabox selections mean that basic foundation is missing .He happily points out that players like Hannigan are learning new positions in TEST matches…np problem.While Genia identifies that the players arent doing their jobs,,,really.Hooper’s ridiculous contract means the dysfunctional /unbalanced back-row will continue indefinately. By the way David,of those 3 players,Folau is only one playing his correct position(as is DHP).Hooper and Beale are bench players….finishers,not so sure.

What is a THP? As I said when Samu was named at 8, Timu or any of the 3 Tards 8s would be a better choice….but its a crime that Cheika dismissed Higgas who is the best *8 in Aust outside of Mafi. Timani is another example of player showing some promise in Gold jersey being inexplicably shed by this coach.Imagine what he could have been if the dozen Tests wasted on Hannigan had been invested in him. The depth that Cheika has supposedly developed is a complete mirage. Look at 6,8,9,10,12,13,……
