I think its more of what will the boardcasters want, get the game back into more health and then restart again. Sucks but we need broadcast dollars then we can restart developement.

From what Im reading (could be wrong), it that 10 will telecast all games that have an Aussie team and Optus will broadcast everything. Wonder what will happen with the NZ one if we have two domestic comps.

You realise a large number of players miss on playing for Australia and arent alienated.
Uni didnt fail at NRC, they didnt even want to be involved. If they take the top two from Shute Sheild, 2 from Hospital Cup, 1 from ACT, 1 from Vic and a WA team then you’ll get more buy in which is a good thing. You

Funnily enough its down to Channel 9/Stan for about $30m a year and Foxtel for $35-40m. I think the plan for 9 is to show the Saturday game as they dont have the NRL games.
Hoping they go with 9 over Fox.
