Agreed OB, Fozzy has had his time with the All Blacks. He has been a massive part of the ABs a number of years now, but Razor has earned the right to add to the AB legacy.

Fozzie was one Test away from being sacked - now he's 80 minutes away from World Cup glory as ABs smash Pumas

Good to watch Whitelock, Coles, A. Smith and Sam Cane playing a World Cup with their younger team mates to show them how to win these knock out games, bodes well for the future. The experience for these 20yr olds will only benefit the ABs for years to come.

I agree Nick, this game was never going to match last week’s intensity, it was a different type of game. The ABs just too strong and clinical today. There were mis-kicks, missed tackles and average carries, it’s not fatigue this happens in all test matches. No injuries, plenty of depth in key positions, the ability to rotate their players. They are at the peak of their powers and look scary as hell.

Take the game for what it is Bilk another step, another game to play to get to the big show. All Blacks are there and are ready.

'Mature, clinical and getting better every time': All Blacks time run perfectly as they hone in on fourth title

Watching the replay at the kids footy game and was struck by how vanilla Argentina was as a team. In all honesty you need to disrupt the All Blacks in your play from the get go to have a chance.

Yeah Buko, mowed the lawn made pancakes, bacon and eggs for the wife and kids knowing that Argentina was happy to grind and go nowhere. Was pretty underwhelming.

Telea was all workrate and contribution to team dynamic. As a coach, I would be completely satisfied by his efforts but he can’t play like that against SA, Ireland or France.

Hmm that frustration is very evident Jim and I understand completely. The game was over after 10 minutes, ABs just too clinical and Argies too passive.

Hiya Tony, Fozzy has been part of the NZ psyche for well over 20 years so understands the pressures required to coach the national side, I feel that he’s looking forward to bringing home the WC trophy to complete an epic run from Ted to Hansen and finally from Fozzy. Tbh, It’s a passing of the torch to Razor who hopefully (fingers crossed) will take the ABs to another level.

Watching Sam Whitelock just stride in and compete for that pill was just timeless! Go the old battler!!!!

37 phases and OUT! Whitelock the hero as All Blacks win epic RWC QF to break Ireland's hearts again

What a game. Two heavy weights just smashing each other, congratulations to both teams!

The defence and handling from one team was average. The other team on the field, well they were just atrocious.

'Gutted': Cheika's Pumas steal dramatic win to confirm Eddie's worst Wallabies fears

Apparently it’s called “playing the ball until pulled up by the ref”, the ABs need to get better at it tbh.

'Absolute beast mode': All Blacks bash Boks with Frizell and Jordan on fire in stirring win

That’s a pretty hard sell Eddie. Tbh the ABs will take this Wallabies side as a serious contender irrespective….

'Look out': Eddie puts All Blacks on notice despite 'broken car' Wallabies' loss to Argentina

Was a clinical first half that defined the whole game. In the second half the SBs were always going to come back, it was up to the ABs to meet that red hot challenge.

Incase you didn’t know Funbus, but the Wallabies don’t care about losing ALL their collisions as long as they are still in the fight to win the game…

REACTION: 'Effing wild!' - Cooper crocked, Banks broken and Swain sent off - but Wallabies overcome chaos

Be nice to have Tupou, but the Wallabies can win without him.

8. DR has demanded that his squad have a high work rate over skill and talent. Why? To stay in the fight and to be in a position to win the game.

REACTION: 'Effing wild!' - Cooper crocked, Banks broken and Swain sent off - but Wallabies overcome chaos

This “average” Wallaby side has made MASSIVE strides to compete and win against the best teams in the world. Period.

REACTION: 'Effing wild!' - Cooper crocked, Banks broken and Swain sent off - but Wallabies overcome chaos

England was dumb enough to get into an arm wrestle with the Wallabies. England tried to “grind” the Wallabies into submission and failed miserably. Eddie was out thought and out coached by Rennie who literally has less than 10 per cent of his resources.

REACTION: 'Effing wild!' - Cooper crocked, Banks broken and Swain sent off - but Wallabies overcome chaos

Seems to me that DR has a clear idea of what type of player he needs to get a job done and according to his analysis Swinton is it until a better alternative shows itself. Under DRs tenure he has made it clear that if you are good enough you will be given every opportunity to prove yourself.

'We want to get the country behind us': Everything Rennie said about beating Boks, JOC return

The World Champions Northern Hemisphere tactics were effectively dismantled by a Wallaby side that played positive front foot rugby.
DR understood that an up-tempo high intensity game was needed to defeat the World Champions and the Wallabies needed to (at the very least) match the Bokke in setpiece but more importantly to match their physicality. The Wallabies nullified the Bokke strike weapon, the rolling maul and were unwilling to concede try’s but more than willing to give away penalties in their twenty two.
Unlike the World Champions, the Wallabies were able to string together enough phases to cross the line without too much trouble while feasting on the Springboks ill discipline, drop balls and inability to change tactics.
In essence, the World Champions were done.
Awesome game Wallabies, simple tactics executed to perfection. A victory well-deserved.

'Bring back that wild waterboy': The Boks are 'sick' and maybe a return to Rassie is the only cure

To comprehensively beat the World Champion Springboks was great to see. Not sure if the World Champions have the ability to handle how we play the game in the Southern Hemisphere?
