It’s an indictment on Australian rugby for the complete lack of leaders. Moore is not a Captain yet there is no one to replace him with. These private school boys have had an easy ride through life that has lent nothing to developing them as men. Get them doing some hard yards out in life and reap the benefits.

It’s good to see the rest of the community start to wake up to the ineptitude of Moore as a Captain. He’s an aloof guy trying to be something he’s not with tough talk but completely misses the mark. I never see him talking to his players causing the Wallabies to lack leadership out on the field and where Cheika can’t personally reach them.
Due to his aloofness, which is borderline aspergers, he completely fails at managing the referee and having Moore not talk to the ref at all would result in a better result. Contrast that with the ease that Pocock can converse with them.

Higgs was was too lazy and played the entire game on the wing and would probably only go into rucks that came within 10m of the sideline. That might be fine for Read to do that but Higginbotham played at a time when the Wallaby pack. Being able to have a forward swanning out on the sideline is something that is earned.

Folau is not better at 12. He beats guys because he gets on the outside of them. At the 12 channel he is more likely to have two players against him so he can’t get on the outside as often.
