I think you could be on to something there BB, I am hoping that by overturning the rule to select overseas based players was only to provide more options for Rassie to ensure there is enough depth in the squad to cover any injuries. Most of the old stalwarts have had their time in the sun, however, as we have seen in the past, World Cup winning teams are made up of just the right mix of experience and youth. I believe it’s the right move to reserve judgement at this stage because “the proof is in the pudding”. We have to give Rassie a chance to prove himself and he has just 18 games in which to get his selection mix and game plan right before the 2019 World Cup. But the June series just can’t clock around quick enough for me.

Good to see you back in the saddle BB, I have missed your posts. You should be proud of the way the South African teams have been playing. I have enjoyed watching the Lions play the last two years, but this year, I am loving the Sharks!!! When they click, they play some very beautiful rugby. The game against the Highlanders is case in point, I will be the first to admit, I never like to see any kiwi side lose, but I had admire how they went about their business on the field, their support lines and offloading was truly top shelf. Honestly, England should be worried come the June series, the talent at Rassies disposal this year is scary.

If people are going to judge Folau, judge him on his actions, not his words. “If coming out wasn’t going to be incredibly difficult before, Izzy has now gone and made it almost impossible for any LGBT players to be who they are while playing there.” Sorry Hannah, I have to disagree with you there, any person from the LGBT community would be totally safe and treated respectfully in his presence, he is a good person who is very generous and people seem to love being around him. His religious views will not signal the impending doom of the LGBT community. I am no Folau fanboy, what he said on social media was just dumb, he should keep his religious beliefs to himself. But it is time to move on and stop recycling this topic, lets get back to talking about rugby.
The problem with Israel Folau's comments
Aussie teams need only target the Blues to break the drought in 2018. Congratulations to the Jaguars on the win in the weekend, it was great game to watch.
