Stop, just stop with the stories about Eddie. He’s gone…leave it that way.

Eddie puts his foot in it again by claiming 'no regrets' after leaving Wallabies in 'a better place'

It was $50m, and i’m doubtful that it was just a donation without a considerable set of conditions.

Rebels set to sue Rugby Australia as civil war erupts, Rugby Victoria President barred from summit

Who was CEO when the leniency was given to expenditure and randomised team selections? Surely the CEO at the time must take some responsibility. Was some blank ‘cheque book’ or, otherwise, who was ensuring proper expenditure with in budget limits? It surely is the CEO’s role to have processes in place to manage and report on expenditure against budgets. If not we can only assume there is no accountability in RA. And if there was leniency, how can we assess the judgement of the CEO and Board to thinking that such a scatter-gun approach to the major international rugby championship would bear fruit. Seriously! No wonder RA is in such trouble.

Waugh reveals shocking $2.6 million unapproved budget blowout on Eddie Jones' World Cup debacle

Mark is free to make his own decisions on his future, but surprisingly doesn’t really understand how much he can make in England, France or Japan. In any case he should not be selected for any Wallabies games in 2024…no point in investing in a player who is not staying.

Done deal: Wallabies star signs with NRL powerhouse in brutal reality check for RA at start of 'golden decade'

Why, oh why is the story still about Eddie?

'I am a better coach': Eddie's head-turning take, says several teams keen on him despite Wallabies flop

Watched the interview with Hamish. Good questions, very average answers: particularly good question was along the lines that you’ve taken credit for a range of things eg 2027 WC but now you seem to want to share the blame for taking on Eddie? What do you say? And many answers of…’that’s a good question’. How can Hamish stay when its clear he’d been in ‘light touch’ with Eddie for a year or so, prior to sacking Dave R, and just seemed to be waiting for the opportunity to employ him? Surely the results and the cost blow-out (I ask, what sort of oversight was there of the budget? Was it a blank cheque?) would see Hamish out the door. (PS: my wife walked by while I was watching and rhetorically asked: how can a game so brutal have such inept management?

'Always knew it would get really ugly': RA chief's strange admission as World Cup budget blow out revealed

“I’m not a politician at all. Never have been, never will be.” Said Eddie. Seriously?

'Keep thinking about that': Eddie's ONE great regret in WC shambles and sliding doors moment that cost QF place

I’ve got to agree. the TMO decided that a scottish player tackled an irish player without the ball. The replay showed minimal action but ireland got a huge advantage. whomever was the tmo in this game was too often in the ref’s ear.

The Wrap: Wallabies are on their way home - can they please take the TMOs with them?

Portugal let Eddie down

In the first year of a 5 year contract?

SPIRO ZAVOS: My message to Hamish McLennan and Eddie Jones: 'In the name of God, go'

I suspect it would be rare for a coach in the 1st year of a 5 year deal to be canvassing other options, unless the offering was considerably better.

And this was a pretty soft interview…not really pushing for responses

'How did mighty Australian Rugby get to this': McLennan says he has 'no' regrets, outlines three areas to fix

“I think the stark reality is that Rugby in Australia needs a massive overhaul which we’ve been saying for three years now.” said Hamish. So I suppose the question therefore is, why hasn’t that happened under the present Board?

Can’t agree. Imagine 4 more years of no real answers, strange selections, chaos.
