Frankly, I think the whole team would be best served by finding a beach somewhere and doing bugger all for a week.

The change in centre pairing is well past due. Kerevi has been awful and trading on his previous reputation, while JP is not a 13’s bootlace. This has been obvious for many matches but ignored by the wonder coach.

Yes I absolutely would have in Ikitau’s case. Intelligence was that he was recovering well and would have been available.
The comparison to Kerevi is spurious as Kerevi has not played well since his knee injury and Ikitau was the best 13 in the country recently.

Why take an injured youngster who isn’t going to play anyway, over an injured player who is a walk up start.

With white at 9 that will always be the case. Isaac is a much better attacking 9 and lifts the tempo of the team.
