Agree, It was towards end of the game. But for reference watch around 78:20. Like I said, if you can get away with it then keep doing it. It’s only illegal if the referee penalises it. Congrats again.

Six talking points from the Super Rugby final

The Crusaders deserve their win. Absolute determination and hard work. IMO a good coach makes the difference. Same goes for the Jaguares as the other finalist. Their aggressive style of play is intimidating. If only their scrum was better. What I found incredible is the Saders using obstruction to protect the ball carrier in the last few minutes. The first one was when Jordan Taufua walked behind two players as the Jaguares came in to tackle. This happened about 3 times in front of the referee! Such a good side at pushing the limits! Well done Crusaders. I hope my Brumbies can emulate them. Dan McKellar is on the right track.

Come and coach the Rebels or waratah forward!

Cooper steps down as Chiefs coach

Wait, it’s ok to denigrate Christians over a period of time and when one stands up for his/her beliefs you ridicule them. So when they receive support you say it’s unnecessary!?!

Why I donated to Israel Folau - and why I will again

Israel’s talent and hard work is what provided his livelihood. RA never gave him money for free.

Why I donated to Israel Folau - and why I will again

He wasn’t begging to be sacked. RA decides to support a social campaign with disregard for the offence it would be to the large number of Christians playing professional rugby in Australia. Instead of focussing on rugby union RA wants to be an agent for social reform. It’s a sporting organisation and a poorly run one at that. Focus on your core business – RUGBY UNION! When a Christian stands up for his views you handle it wrongly. RA should have consult the Christian athletes about their views on diversity.

Why I donated to Israel Folau - and why I will again

This confirms the fact that RA is run by incompetent people…for way too long.

Thanks for your article KoWA. Christians have been insulted for many years. How many Jesus jokes are made on this forum alone? Yet, those who make it don’t stop to consider if that act is hurtful or insulting. The Christian cross represents a symbol of sacrifice and love. We are tolerant. Yet when we respond or voice our views we’re ridiculed. How brave would the keyboard warriors be if they ridiculed Islam? I am certain YOU are not as brave as you think you are. I am a a proud Christian. I have family, friends and colleague’s who are bisexual, gay, lesbian, Muslim and atheist. Each one I have respect and love for. They all inspire me and I am blessed to have them in my life. We are allowed to exchange views and learn from each other thanks to our right of expression. Good luck Israel. I will be praying for you.

Thanks Brett for a great article. I’ve been following the brumbies since their beginnings and Dan McKellar is doing a great job. He has instilled the value of hard work and community back in the Brumbies. Looking forward to the game.

The Brumbies: The best Australian team is the one we’d all forgotten about

Well written. Thank you for sharing.

Supporting Samu Kerevi has been an absolute pleasure for Reds fans

For the sake of his career, Ponga and any union potential from league should stay clear of a switch until RA has the competency to manage the sport in Australia.

A Kalyn Ponga code-switch would haunt the Wallabies, not help them

Nothing wrong with that. I’m sure you would do the same. Life is tough in the islands and any chance to do better is an opportunity to do so. Hence why we leave for better opportunities. Doesn’t mean we hit we’ll hit any less on the pitch!

Samu Kerevi confirms he's on his way out of Australian rugby

Right now the Wallabies would struggle to overcome the top NZ super teams! This is THE toughest season to watch Australian rugby!

Gibson's gotta go - time to bring back Cheika

SR’s poor quality is the administration issues in Australia and South Africa. Maybe the fixing needs to start at the top? It amazes me that there never is enough promotion of SR matches in Sydney. Why aren’t there more ad’s about games? Why aren’t the U20’s matches promoted? As other bloggers mentioned, the Australian teams should move their matches around to promote themselves CONNECT with the community. In Sydney it would be great to play a few matches in Parramatta stadium when it reopens or Penrith. That would be one way to gauge interest in the west. Personally as a Brumbies fan, I am not a fan of merging. Yes the game attendance numbers are down. The club has operated at a loss for a while. However what club hasn’t? Nicholas Bishop gave us international examples. The NZ crowds are low as well. It’s easy for us to blog on about how the game is in strife thanks to a confusing and disjointed conference system AND poor management of rugby by ARU, SARFU etc. BUT is there something WE can do? Attend matches ourselves? Buy merchandise and membership? Maybe we as the fans are part of the problem too.

Southern Brumbies could solve Australia’s Super problem

If the Brumbies go I won’t be following Australian rugby anymore.

Brumbies to consider moving to avoid the chop

Good article Brett. The Wallabies have improved since the earlier tests this year. The skill levels have improved but they need to work on finishing. That will happen, then dreams will become reality.

The grand slam: Don’t dream, it’s over

Ireland played really well. Great performance and they deserved the win. Australia’s skills have improved alot. The catch and pass and taking options are better than previous years. This team is getting better despite the loss. Mumm and Simmons played better than I expected. They were aggressive and Simmons work rate was good. What’s happened to our scrum though!?!

Highlights: Wallabies' Grand Slam dream gone after 24-27 loss to Ireland
