You don’t actually read too well do you? When did I say we have all the answers right now? Invention and innovation will get us to where we need to, it always has. There are already biodegradable plastic products replacing non-biodegradables, and there are many other plastic substitutes in development now as we speak. Necessity is the mother of invention….have a little faith in the genius of mankind NH! Fortunately we now have a Government who sees that mankind’s future is not tied to fossil fuels.

On balance, Freo are a lesser Team than 2022. There are Teams that have already improved their lists substantially, like the Tigers and Port plus they’ll get a much tougher draw, so it’s pretty clear that Freo will be dropping down the ladder in 2023.

The problem is that you can’t get rid of fossil fuels if you want to live a modern lifestyle.
Of course you can. It’s people like you who are frightened that a transition to renewable may in some way affect the comfortable lives you have now, who probably voted for the Do Nothing Coalition and set this Country back a decade or more. You were part of the problem but you are now irrelevant.
Transition to renewables is already happening all over the world and here in Australia whether you like it or not. It is inevitable and it will make a difference to the Climate….in fact it will hopefully at least keep the planet habitable for future generations.

That won’t always be the case. Innovation and market forces will create change. Do you expect it to happen overnight with just a click of the fingers? We are behind most of the world right now due to the previous government being asleep at the wheel for 9 years but we have the capability to be world leaders in new technologies if we wish to creating new products, industries and jobs along the way.

Um, I’m pretty sure that by choosing an energy retailer that supplies your energy produced through renewable sources means that when I turn on my TV, I’m not relying on fossil fuels!! That sets an example. What are you doing??
The rest is up to the Government to create the market environment for gradual change away from reliance on fossil fuels for energy, We will one day, for certain, no longer need fossil fuels for energy. These Companies will either die or move into renewable themselves and community activism like this will help hasten this change. In the meantime, high profile football clubs should look to get their sponsorship dollars from sources that a more aligned with the community that supports them.
