James – he’s Maori.

Aussie abroad: Pekahou Cowan

James – he’s Fijian.

Aussie abroad: Taqele Naiyaravoro

Corne – us Kiwis call Aus our underperforming West Island. They’ve become our wee whipping boys, like a little brother we have to beat to keep in line. Behave child! 😂

Here’s a great idea: Let’s stop playing the All Blacks

I’m sick of belting the wallaby canary yellow too – if anything the boys get a paid for dip in Bondi for a week.

Here’s a great idea: Let’s stop playing the All Blacks

Haydn – the latter maybe but the former?! 😂

True blue Jonesy would be a better fit for Aus.

Rennie a good man as Wallabies coaching job becomes a seller’s market

Vman – Browny also stated that in no way will he coach the canary yellow Aus, considering the horrible state it’s in. He’s good but not that good.

Rennie a good man as Wallabies coaching job becomes a seller’s market

haha

What Eddie Jones and Owen Farrell said to the England team after World Cup defeat

Agree – on score line and dominance, the ’87 Abs team take the cake. The 2015 team is one of the best i’ve seen on a rugby field. Another factor is quality of opposition, resulting in less of gap between the Abs and the world. In 2019, that ‘gap’ is much smaller than in 2015.

Who is the best World Cup winning team ever?

Tough decision…not.

Wallabies face All Black competition for Dave Rennie's services

Ralph – great article. Top four is bearable as a minimum KPi and the Abs ticked that. We’ve won 90% of games over a decade, an excellent stretch of success. Time for a new crop to get the cup back in 2023 and farewell to the greats Shag and Reado.

Why I'm not depressed by the All Blacks loss

..and to beat us twice in over 100 years is a wee scratch in relation to the deep scars they bare.

Why Ireland will still win the Rugby World Cup

Jacko – ditto re sentiment and prediction. Triple world champions to run riot.

Why Ireland will still win the Rugby World Cup

JC – absolutely. Dwayne Johnson captures it in three – Just Bring It!

Why Ireland will still win the Rugby World Cup

..and that win is one of two in hundred years, hardly a scratch to the Abs compared to the deep scars Ireland bare.

Why Ireland will still win the Rugby World Cup

100% – Shag has a remote control per natural disaster.

Typhoon Hagibis has everyone stirred up at the RWC

FF – if so, no dramas with me – go the mighty All Blacks!!

Typhoon Hagibis has everyone stirred up at the RWC

Fionn – the rwc knockout stages does funny things to teams. One NH team has ever won the rwc, despite NH success in-between rwc years. Why? Pressure, pressure, pressure. Based on previous rwc performances, Ireland have folded under that pressure and likely the same will happen this year.

Why Ireland will still win the Rugby World Cup

Disagree Scotty – the rwc tournament is a different kettle of fish from your one off test matches in a regular season. It’s a different pressure and one that the Ab’s are accustomed to hence they being triple world champions. Ireland on the other hand have a reputation of choking and crumbling at the rwc knockout stages, as do other NH countries. The All Blacks by 13+

Why Ireland will still win the Rugby World Cup

Agree again – I thought their forwards looked laboured particularly in the latter stages. Ab’s will dominate Ireland with a constant wave of up tempo offence. Typhoon like! *had to add that in sorry*

Why Ireland will still win the Rugby World Cup

BD – they exist, you just don’t know them. You can’t be friends with everyone champ.

A Wallabies Rugby World Cup quarter-final against England: Dream or nightmare for Michael Cheika?

OJ – well said.

A Wallabies Rugby World Cup quarter-final against England: Dream or nightmare for Michael Cheika?

Spiro – good analysis. Hansen is leaving his legacy and revolutionising rugby as we speak. Sources speak of relentless attacking strategies requiring unprecedented fitness levels per gps data, never seen in an Ab squad. Exciting times for the triple world champions and for the game we love. The Abs are often imitated but never duplicated.

Deans Theory: Attack is the key to win the Webb Ellis Cup

Mal – excellent piece and evidenced well by what happened onfield. Hansen is the greatest rugby coach of all time for mine, among a myriad of attributes his ID of player skill sets and complimenting those to build a world champion team is second to none. He will be missed and will leave the seat in good stead for Foz or Gatland to take over (imo). Kia Kaha mighty All Blacks!!

All Blacks march forward to get the right balance of pace and control

It’s champagne rugby.

All Blacks set play is simply impossible to defend
