I still eat pizzas, I still like pies, I still have spaghetti hoops for breakfast... but it's in moderation now.

Bernard acts like a spoilt little brat a lot of the time, but I like to consider him a product of circumstance – a Gold Coast kid with an overbearing father/coach that is having difficulties dealing with the pressure of being expected to win. The boy has talent to burn and just needs to mature and focus, and im sure that if he can do that he has a number of grand slams in him. It would be a great shame if he were to become the next Jelena Dokic or disappear into obscurity.

Why do people hate Tomic?

The man said it himself – “A lot of things have got to go wrong in Australian cricket for me to get back I think.”

Let’s hope it never gets to that. At least not until he can prove he knows how to leave “more than a ball or two.”

"The Big Show" Maxwell desperate to lose nickname

This is just going to make the problem worse…I completely agree with Chris here, giving more reviews heightens the potential for unscrupulous usage of the DRS. In my opinion the decision to review should be taken out of the player’s hands completely and left to the umpire to clarify decisions he isn’t sure of. Allowing the player to question the umpire’s decision is not only in direct conflict with the fabric upon which the game was built (sportsmanship, accepting the umpire’s decisions) but is also opening up the potential for a trickle-down effect into kids/youth cricket. What example is this setting for impressionable youngsters that see their favourite cricketers constantly questioning the umpire’s decisions?

Ashes to feature extra DRS reviews

“He is an aggressive opening batsman with the ability to win the game for Australia in the first session or two of a Test match”. I would agree with this sentence, but in 20-odd tests how many matches have there been where this potential has been realised? I would say only once, his 180 in Perth. One example of where he has won Australia a match off his bat. Although he has scored three centuries total, one was in a losing side and the other a draw. So 1/20….how long do we have to wait for him to do this on a consistent basis? I definitely wouldn’t call him a match winner, yet.

David Warner will be an Australian legend

Probably deserves it more than some of the others that have been gifted test caps in the last few years…..Xavier Doherty, Glenn Maxwell, Moises Henriques, Cameron White, Peter George et al
