Walsh just needs some composure. Seems to rush and turn the ball over easily instead of taking a second to hit up a target.
Seeing his work rate and mentally in training, I have no question that it’ll improve with experience.
Bailey Smith is a freak, by far the best midfielder from that draft. (Carlton fan)

Why Sam Walsh is the AFL's best young player

I stopped reading as soon as you mentioned Weitering being a spud.

Carlton Blues season preview: Cool your finals hopes

I think we were going to call Kemp’s name at 11 regardless of Flanders being available.

2019 AFL Draft Day 1 wrap: Blues make news again with live trades

The more I read about it, the more I think carlton were going to take Kemp at 11. SOS knew he might slide to 17 so did the trade with GC because he knew they wanted Flanders and what the other clubs were looking at.

High Risk, high reward. All his trades have been like this, not all of them have worked, but the ones which have are incredibly in our favour.

Liddle would be stupid to let him walk. He just mixes everything up. Last thing we want is someone as boring as dodoro

2019 AFL Draft Day 1 wrap: Blues make news again with live trades

No he’s done a alright job. Didn’t sell the farm for player’s and respected contracted players.

Is Zac Jones is worth pick 32, Martin & 15 is not worth 9 plus a second round pick

Stephen Silvagni has failed Carlton

Good read. I really hope we offer him a contract next season.
Even if it’s off the rookie list. Start moving him into player development / coaching.

Kade Simpson is Carlton's underrated gem

Meh…. Both silvagni and Bolton are SAFE AS HOUSES.

The only person who needs to take a look at them self are the selection panel and skills coach. Who evers bright idea to have casboult, curnow, mckay and McGovern in the one forward line needs to take a good hard look at them self.

Brendon Bolton and Stephen Silvagni are dead men walking at Carlton

Bolt’s is safe as houses. With majority of his playing group still under 50 games experience you can’t expect alot from the guy.

Under pressure: Every AFL coach's 2019 job security ranked

Brendon Bolton Will be coach of the Carlton football next season regardless of this season’s results I think.
The players seem to have a good relationship with the coach and replacing coaches doesn’t help our club now nor will it benifit players this and the next season.

When you think about it, at the moment it’s Pretty much coaching boy’s playing against men.
Hopefully if we can get the same 22 on the park each week we can see some consistency and improvement.

2019 AFL season preview: Carlton Blues

Or just have the bottom 3 teams enter a lottery for picks 1-3, then have everything how it is normally from round 2…

Plus Walsh is going no. 1

How to avoid repeating the Lukosius Cup

I’d have a crack at fasolo, when he is fit he’s quite a damaging player.
But it’ll have to be on a short term performance driven contract.

GWS confident of keeping Dylan Shiel

I reckon the Lions have the best young list in the AFL. What they’ve done up there is remarkable, Only problem now is can they keep them all?

2018's two surprise packets, and three teams who can starting planning for next year

Just wait till the kids start putting 4 quarters together. In all 3 rounds we’ve only been let down by 1 rubbish quarter which have cost us being in a winning position. There’s been some positive signs.

Although, I don’t see us moving up the ladder in 2019, 2020 might be different. if we continue to draft well and keep playing the kids the core group would be around 50-100 games.

If they keep steadily improving it’ll be quite exciting times ahead.

2018's two surprise packets, and three teams who can starting planning for next year

Geez I’m sick of the Bolton bashing. Al clarkson wouldn’t be able to manufacture wins with our current list.
Keep playing the kids, it’s only going to be a matter of time before they start geling.

The only reason why fisher is started to play well is because he pushed him and gave him game time last year.

No AFL wins but Blues are growing: Bolton

All this story needs is a princess to be rescued to become a true fairy tale.

Why Melbourne should trade Jesse Hogan in 2018

Boltan is pretty much following the exact philosophy Paul Roos did with Melbourne. step 1. Shore up the defense and stop these regular 50+ point blow outs. step 2, bring in some good young talent and start slowly bringing in attacking flair.

Twelve quick takes from the JLT Community Series week three

I believe he was playing that docherty role against the saints.
Didn’t do to badly, reads the play very well and can take a intercept mark.

I’m really looking forward to his grogress.

Your AFL club's breakout player for 2018

Does Caleb Marchback qualify for a break out season?

Your AFL club's breakout player for 2018

I thought Marchbank was brilliant accross half back. Reads the play very well.

Its going to be interesting to see if we can fit Jones, Marchy, Plowman and weitering in defense. Surly one misses out.

Macca – damn straight! I’m really excited to see what these young blues can do. Harry needs to stop sniffing glue and start to smell the roses.
Bolts and SOS have the club going in the right direction, As soon as these kids have the ability to put 4 quarters together we’ll be winning more games of football.

Who finishes higher in 2018? Carlton, Brisbane, North Melbourne, Gold Coast
