My Aussie football experience is limited to the first 18 at school. I played full forward and was best for my team once and second best once. In both games I kicked 4 goals in an 8 game season. I am in a tipping competition for over 60's in an electorate in WA. In round 3, I picked 7 winners in the AFL and 5 out of 5 in the WAFL. Unfortunately, I wasn't the winner for that round. In 2019 both my wife and I were winners for one of the rounds. I got 13/14 correct. I forgot to say that I had some success at State level in tennis. I was the Secretary of the WA Tennis Professionals and passed the tennis umpiring certificate at the international level. I was a level 2 tennis coach and could have coached anyone in Australia. I won 2 State Level Doubles Titles and was a finalist in the Under 18 State tennis Championships losing 6-4, 7-5. I defeated 3 seeded players before I played against the No. 1 seed. I was not seeded for the tournament. Academically, my best year was in Year 10 when I came first in both Maths and Chemistry and second in Latin. At school I won the U10 Swimming trophy and was captain of the U11 cricket team. I was the tennis champion in every year and won the Open Title 3 times from the age of 15.

I picked the Bulldogs to win by 33 points last night. I thought it was a great possibility when with only 11 seconds to go they led by 33 points. Then what happens…the ball is kicked immediately to Aaron Naughton straight in front of the sticks. I hoped he would only kick a point as he usually does with set shots. So what does he do? He defies his usual form and kicks a goal after the siren and the Dogs win by 39 points.

Why Tom Liberatore is the AFL's most underrated player
