Do they engrave the medal with the winners name and other details – surely with the time they have after the game and before the presentation starts – the judges can vote on the CCM winner at fulltime and for the medal to be engraved – maybe they don’t want a muck up with the engraving like what happened to English Cricketer Ashley Giles – set of mugs ordered for his testimonial year were engraved as “King of Spain” instead of “King of Spin”
At the Australian tennis open the final winners and runners names are engraved after the match is completed on the respective trophy/plate in time for the presentation – NRL can’t do the same??

no way Sharks or Storm would have been the top rating game – only those in the Shire follow the Sharks (don’t travel away either) and Storm are supported by league and union people living in Victoria and no one else – the GF was rather boring affair between these two teams as well- the who cared grand final- like watching a shortened version of the Bathurst 1000- you leave the room and come back later and nothings happened. Best game by far on Grand final day was the Under 20’s Grand Final but the NRL in their wisdom has dumped it.
Brisbane always get the rails run getting more 7 day turnarounds than any club why- oh it’s the ratings – mmm I suggest nothing else to do in Brisbane more like it.- seriously all teams should get an equal number of FTA games- the more FTA games teams get the more sponsors they can attract- hence the reason why you struggled to name the main sponsors of all 16 clubs

The only way there will be a NRL or AFL team in Tasmania is if they relocate – same for Northern Territory and of course WA doesn’t have a NRL team either- Unfortunately due to poor Test Cricket crowds you might even loose your Test to Canberra(Manuka Oval) – i.e only 10k watching the NRL weekly isn’t going to get the NRL excited about expansion in Tassie and if the AFL hasn’t expanded into Tassie by having a team based there the NRL won’t be- it wont even be on the NRL’s agenda
Without Tassie, there is no National Rugby League!
how long does one consider a country as still an emerging nation in a sport – whether league, union or cricket- been talking forever about USA/Russia as an example to transition from an emerging nation to a full nation in league – still have yet to emerge- Need to give nations the incentive to improve by giving them the assistance and the chance to play against other top nations and in the world cup etc. Look at Cricket too – Ireland and Netherlands have been emerging cricket nations for ever it seems hard for them and others to become full members – only 10 full members currently- 39 associates and 56 affiliates – how many full members of the IRL

not quite sure what Gus was talking about saying the Indigenous side should be a standalone side and also play in the world cup as the indigenous side – so that means none of the indigenous players could play for NSW/QLD or Australia in that case or do we have an Indigenous state of origin as well?- it’s only 4-3 at the moment and it wont be played next year because of the WC so no need to change the concept of it as a one off game,
World All Stars holding back the contest

100% correct as how many players will say x should be suspended for the tackle on them – very very few- rules are rules and Luke breached the rule for that type of tackle and has to face his medicine – 1 week suspension. The only reason SBW didnt land on his head was he braced himself by using his arm and this is where the injury to shoulder was sustained.
