If you had to start your own team and could take a pick of any starting fullback, I don’t think Latrell even makes the top 10. It looks roughly like:
1. Dylan Edwards
2. Reece Walsh
3. Tom Trbojevic
4. Kalyn Ponga
5. James Tedesco
6. Ryan Papenhuyzen
7. Clint Gutherson
8. Scott Drinkwater
9. Will Kennedy
10. Jordan Rapana
11. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow
12. Charnze Nikoll-Klokstad
13. AJ Brimson
14. Jahream Bula
15. Latrell Mitchell
16. Tyrell Sloan
17. Blake Taafe

There are even some second string fullbacks at other clubs eg. Nick Meaney, Jayden Campbell who you would consider over Latrell. So why all the praise like he’s some sort of future immortal. He’s not even in the top 5 centres even. Most overhyped player in the last 30 years.
