i dont think they wanted to give any hint away how they would beat the crusaders in the finals series plus they gave some new guys a chance to blood against “All Blacks”. Away against Crusaders, could not find a better opportunity

EJ joining the team has certainly changed the Australian Rugby landscape for sure. How long and how positive-that’s the question.
Some things that worry me under EJ, that were not a major concern under Rennie.
NSW and QLD Rugby powerbrokers !!! you only need to look at Super rugby channel 9 free to air coverage which every team wants for their sponsors
Force and Rebels 3 games, Brumbies 4, Reds 5 and Tahs a whopping 7 free to air. Is this how things are going to go?

I really feel for players in teams like Rebels, Force and Brumbies that don’t have the political clout that QLD and NSW rugby hold.

Wow- not a TAHs supporter but being so one-eyed RED supporter is embarrassing. Many REDS have been given chances and failed. Some even struggle at Super level LSL, Liam Wright, petaia, – Some should be given a chance like URU, and some are slowly getting there- Tate, Campbell. How you can knock Foketi, Porecki or Hooper has me shaking my head.

I am unsure what you QLD’s want. When your boys play , they dont play up to standard and you blame the guy next to them. How anyone can rate Wilson higher than Valentini is beyond me. i am a big fan of Wilson but he is slow developing into the player he should be. I am unsure why all the negativity. We lost but we were not disgraced by any means. Some silly choices, some bad rub of the green- the good news is we have some REAL depth now. Everyone was panicking on Locks- now proven test quality Neville, Swain, Phillip, Frost, Rodda, Holloway
Our front row will be better for the schooling they received over the series.
Hooper- has been great but this series was down. may not be the leader we need.
other 6,7,8 Harry will get there i am sure, so much potential, Valentini is great so is Samu. just need to work out combos
9’s white, Mcdermot, Gordon, Lonergan all can hold there own in a test

at any rate, QLD supporters who were screaming no REDs players. Look what has happened over the series. be honest on their performance

REDs were trailing both games and sometime by quite a lot. The Crusaders are not as kind as the Brumbies and certainly will not give ground to a very slow starting REDS. The Brumbies have a better chance of beating the Crusaders than the REDS if they can sort out heir forward pack issues. A bit Naive to think the REDS are the standout Aussie team when they have won both games by 2 points. The stupid part of Saturdy night that the Brumbies had so many guys able to dropgoal but no leadership to press the button.
The Reds can beat the Crusaders
So when you are frustrated beyond belief at Australian rugby, your choices are minimal.
1)Walk away and forget the game exists(pick it back up in heaven)
2)Protest like the Force have done. IF I had a Force shirt for Saturdays game I would wear it.
3)Vent on forums like this and hope the ARU are getting pressure from areas that monitor this. The fans are not happy and it has been for some time. We want AB pride in our team. No one likes to put Hanigan or Robertson down but there is no other way to voice the disapproval of selection of these ineffective and under done players.
4) unsure of other options
I for one would happily stand in front of any players or officials and cite why change needs to happen. Anonymity not required for this only trolls. I dont believe people are trolling.

We have a really poor back 3 at the breakdown. Cover Hooper a bit with a great number 6(not an L plater). So much Australian talent going to waste because of this silly man. Imagine what he could do if he picked a REAL team

WOW, Canberra crowd. and Cheika you still leave out Arnold (great game AGAIN), you leave Powell out and still persist with Phipps, you leave Hanigan in(so not ready and taking up more deserving players spot)
ARU is NOT NSW Rugby. Straighten this up or watch crowd numbers drop further. Nobody likes “jobs for the boys” which Hanigan, Foley, Robertson, Dempsey all are.
