Not sure if he’s the worst ever NRL signing but he sure is volatile and that brings great risk. As a Faders’ tragic I had mixed feelings when he left us but I’ve moved on. So … ironically, I think his replacement at Canberra (Curtis Scott) is now shaping up as one major dud signing. Perhaps the biggest for 2020 anyway. He’s an on and off field disaster who’s defence seems to be non existent.

I remember that moment clearly … part of the best forgotten David Furner era IMHO. As I recall the Gold Coast were maybe 10-12 point down with a few minutes to play. It was the Faders at their worst. The sad thing is, when we signed the Ox, I thought … yep, not a bad little buy there. Didn’t turn out that way and boy, did the fans turn on him. Will the same thing happen to Curtis Scott?
