Walker’s D improved significantly at the back end of last season. He’s a tough little bugger! Increasing his muscle mass over the next 2/3 seasons should also help.

If the Broncos can bottle the disappointment of last seasons GF and channel the pain to their advantage they’ll be unstoppable. If you don’t want to feel that guttered again think twice before you shift early when you should be completing your sets and kicking to the corners.Remember the disappointment when you need to make that effort on effort play to shut down a potential game changing threat.
If they get it right they’ll lap whoever they meet in the 2024 GF.
As for Walsh, he can only get better.

Furthermore, I think a draft system should be introduced. Legislation should be adjusted so that if said player won’t relocate, they don’t play and have no legal leg to stand on. This is the only way to effectively even out the competition.
I’m not having a dig at Penrith however having 12000 plus juniors coming through compared to 1000/2000 Juniors that so many other clubs have is arguably an unfair advantage.
The results of the previous 3 seasons reflect that advantage. A draft system would go along way to fixing that imbalance of juniors coming through. Cleary to the Dolphins, JFH to the Tigers, Leota to the Sharks etc.

Cleary is the best 7 in the game. The Panthers are fortunate to him. With that said, Every club including the Panthers would trade out young Sam Walker for Nathan Cleary. Talent wins comps not loyalty.

Dunno about the Storm. Munster is more miss than hit these days. Grant appeared disinterested last season and poor Paps will be lucky to play again. Meaney is a handy player however lacks the X factor that Slater and Paps had.
It’d be worth rating a teams pack. You won’t win a modern day competition without a superior pack. Panthers 5, Broncos 4.5, Roosters 4.5, Warriors 4, Eels 3.5, Raiders 3.5, Storm 3, Sharks 3, Bunnies 3, Knights 3

I can’t see the NRL allowing Wighton who signed on for $750k a year 2024/25 move to 6.
As a 6 he would attract offers north of $950k a year.
