Currently only one team in Aleague averages more that 12k, so i’m not sure that should be the bench mark. A brief look at attendances of Aleague matches played in Auckland by Wellington Phoenix over the last 5 years only one was less than 10k and two were over 20k. Quite healthy i think.

Regarding the speed gun accuracy they will appear quicker. I believe they use 2 radars or readings to measure and then chose the lowest in NZ, in australia the Highest. This was discussed in an article during an NZ v Australia test match in 2015 at the WACA. Maybe i have the details wrong but basically the technology and it’s application should not be taken as entirely accurate in either country.

Not as surprising as some think. I watched the Parker and Ruiz fight and was split on who won. One thing I took from it was Ruiz could fight, moved forward throughout and could take a punch. When I found out he’d taken the fight against Joshua I decided to put money on him. Unfortunately to win in either the 1st , 3rd or 5th round. Damit!
