Why they get these Shute Shield coaches I will never know. Minimum international experience with fully professional teams but win the Shute a couple times and you’re good to go. Why not get a proven successful coach of a fully professional team from overseas? Waratahs and Western Force both sitting at the bottom of the table with their Shute Shield coaches…
Waratahs set to lose two up-and-comers ahead of Suaalii's arrival as NSW Rugby announce $4.8m loss
Hypothetically if the rebels get culled (which I don’t want), then what happens to the broadcasting deal for 12 super rugby teams. There’s now max 5 matches per week rather than 6. 1 team gets a bye every week and surely there’s less money distributed to each team??
Rebels' Super future hanging on creditors' Friday vote as Rugby Australia set to go against plan
Keep the rebels punt the Tahs

The rebels need to go cap in hand to Twiggy and beg for him to do a proper takeover.

A move to subbies makes the most sense. Put them in a division where they have the right amount of players for and then let them build holistically from there. Down the line a competitive club with 5grades plus colts in a lower comp would be better than having 1 or 2 that are getting flogged most weeks in a premier comp. If a couple of players are good enough to make rep teams and have to move to 2Blues or Canberra to look for higher honours then so be it.
How the west was lost again: Rugby's battler club suffers another blow and this one could be fatal
I mean honestly are there any more exciting players in world rugby to watch than Kolbe and Arendse, the 2 80kg steppers that the boring boks just use to kick and bash with, Cmon man wake up to yourself and enjoy some damn good rugby
How Rassie reshaped Springboks after social media ref rant - and the key role played by a harsh critic
The springboks score some beautiful tries, sure some are just brute force like Etzebeths, but there have been lots scored by the backs by Kolbe and Arendse etc throughout the World Cup that have been simply sublime.
There’s a lot of hate being targeted at the springboks because of their success or is it jealousy…
How Rassie reshaped Springboks after social media ref rant - and the key role played by a harsh critic
Did you watch the game with an eyepatch over one eye lol.
A lot of people out there unhappy the springboks have a good chance of winning the rugby World Cup yet again…
'Heartbroken': Springboks knock France out of RWC in dramatic, controversial QF as 'key moment' highlighted
Great read, rugby in South Africa is a different vibe to that in Australia. As someone else said, it is very sanitised over here.
I think everyone is writing the Wallabies off a bit to quickly. It was Eddie’s first match in charge and they they were playing at Loftus, a place were much better and more settled Wallaby teams have never won. I think we will see them improve greatly from here.
Fresh meat: Loftus Versfeld smells like an abattoir. Tom Hooper and co were skewered and thrown on the braai
Well no one seems to want to host it so…
France pulls out of hosting RLWC 2025 after government withdraws funding, with Australia lined up to step in
Just cancel it, it’s a joke anyway

Brumbies really deserve to play in front of a decent crowd, they’re winning consistently and score some great try’s.
Need for speed: Super Toole sees Brumbies to incredible bonus point win as Larkham demands more
He played rugby in newcastle and then went to keebra park on the GC to play league
'The NRL has lost their mind': RA chair fires back after Suaalii attack as another NRL star's interest confirmed
Even Bryce Heem who was the reserve at the Blues had a much better impact than RTS when he played.
League fires back: RTS abandons All Black dream as resurgent Warriors announce star's return to NRL
It’s a lot harder to tackle players when they don’t run straight into you, upright, every time. RTS got showed up multiple times, he knows he doesn’t have a future in rugby and so he’s gone back to league, wise choice, and good for him
League fires back: RTS abandons All Black dream as resurgent Warriors announce star's return to NRL
His defence wasn’t good enough to be a decent Union player and he wasn’t physical enough to be a 12. Probably would have gone better at wing or fullback

Reds have really regressed since they won the Super Au comp 2 years ago. Don’t seem to be able to buy a win without the Tongan Thor winning them scrum penalties and getting them on the front foot. I wonder why he’s going to Melbourne…
'Gutted': Thorn's Reds fall at home again as brilliant Brumbies march on by ending Brisbane hoodoo
Thought the rebels deserved to win that game, played the more enterprising rugby and showed a bit more mongrel. Great game over all though
'They've got that wrong': Reds denied in wildly controversial finish as Rebels hold on in epic comeback win
Oh please, Roosters definitely aren’t happy about this, he’s leagues top youngster.
'Back home': 19-year-old 'freak' NRL star signs multimillion deal with Rugby Australia
Great signing ARU, get your house in order and pick off the top league talent every year. Remember they are trying to sign the top Union talent.
'Back home': 19-year-old 'freak' NRL star signs multimillion deal with Rugby Australia
I like Gordon, I think he has a lot more potential than the Tahs 10s who don’t seem great to me
'Significant': Hodge's injury adds to Rebels' pain as Gordon, Wilkin shine again
Personally enjoyed it. Would love to see some Australian players show that amount of passion in a match
'I'd definitely do it': Ardie gives Tahs licence to sledge over throat-slitting gesture
You can do it befffooorrre the match not duuurrriiinnggg it Ardi
Savea CITED for throat-slit 'brain explosion,' faces prospect of lengthy ban
Tight 5 might be the Waratahs Achilles heal, would love to see packed out stadiums in super rugby again though.
Waratahs predicted team: 10 shootout, teen prodigy set to feature as coach aims to be Chicago Bulls
The Reds are currently 6 points behind the Chiefs with 4 games to go. Looking at the Reds run in, they have a much easier path than the Chiefs as they play 4 teams all below them. Whereas the Chiefs play the Hurricanes and the Blues. They could be on for a home quarterfinal if they play consistently well and things go their way
Five things: The Reds have flipped the script - and it promises to be rewarded at the Wallabies selection table
