I strongly disagree that Hansen had a deliberate strategy to get under his skin. I think Cheika always finds someone to blame when they lose. Look at the way Hansen conducted himself after Ireland loss compared to Cheika…..chalk and cheese. I don’t like Cheika you can be passionate and support your team without conducting yourself the way he does.

There is a method to Cheika's madness

It used to be hard to get into the Aussie team. Stuart Law and Darren Lehman couldn’t get a game………for a few years Justin Langer couldn’t get a game. Now we have a number 6 with a first class batting average of 30…..Mitchell Marsh is NOT a test cricketer. The selectors should be sacked.

Sorry Australian cricket, we are no longer in love

Completely dismantled? Ireland deserved to win no doubt about it…….but they won 5 tries to 4……and scored the final try. It seems that when the ABs get beaten the world media exaggerates the margin by which they were beaten. Many stats favoured the ABs…..metres and line breaks. It seem according to Aussie media the Wallabies can lose to the ABs by 27 points but somehow deserve to win.

Five talking points from Ireland's win over New Zealand

One big change the Wallabies should make is to be as good losers as the All Blacks were against Ireland. All Australian rugby supporters should watch Steve Hansen’s after match interview and compare it to Cheikas after the loss to NZ…..the term chalk and cheese springs to mind.

Roar Forum: What changes should the Wallabies make for Scotland?

You thinks its normal for the All Blacks to lose…….they are the most successful team in history…..but everyone loses occasionally. I wouldn’t write them off just yet.

Ireland vs All Blacks highlights: Ireland claim historic win in Chicago

How exactly are the All Blacks arrogant? Enlighten me…….have you ever met any of them. Front page of the New Zealand Herald is Well done Ireland…….when the Wallabies lose…..its ‘Wallabies ripped off by ref’

Ireland vs All Blacks highlights: Ireland claim historic win in Chicago

Foley tackled Coles without the ball.Should have been penalty try and yellow card for Foley. I suggest you watch the incident again without your green and gold glasses on. Funny how the Aussie media and Cheika have totally focused on the Speight incident and conveniently forgot the Coles-Foley incident that was just as controversial as far as I’m concerned.

Amid last week's mud-slinging, some rugby was played

I think the ABs should have been awarded a penalty try and Foley a yellow card when he tacked Coles without the ball……I think that was a worse decision than the Speight. Funny the Australian media……and Clown Cheika haven’t mentioned that incident.

The referees are favouring the All Blacks

I wonder if this article would have been written had the shoe been on the other foot. I think not. Any mistakes made by NZ after the Lyon incident are irrelevant. The simple fact is he should have been in the dressing room. I can’t recall a decision having such an effect on a test match for a long time. Quite simply it changed the course of the match.

DRS controversy distracted from Kiwi mistakes

I doubt you’d be writing this article if a Wallaby had stripped an AllBlack then scored a try to win a World Cup.

Stripping should be a yellow card penalty

I don’t think NZ have ever claimed to be angels. Unlike the writer of this article I follow NZ cricket closely and watch all their tests on Foxtel. They play aggressive cricket…………..but don’t resort to the petulant childish displays that we see from people like Brad Haddin and James Faulkner in the World Cup final. Haddin a 37 year old man with children behaving like a spoilt brat schoolboy. I watch cricket from all over the world……..the only cricket where there is any bad feeling is when Australia are involved. I applaud the way NZ play cricket and perhaps one day Australia will grow up and play the game like everyone else does.

McCullum's spirit of cricket on display at the Gabba

Kane Williamson is better than both I think……….I will be surprised if he doesn’t end up with a test average well over 50……and I’ll be very surprised if Smith keeps an average as high as his is at the moment. Williamson is class…….only Bradman, Tendulkar and Sobers had more 100s by their 24th birthday. Williamson has got 100s against all opposition in all conditions…..most of his tons have been away from NZ…many of Smith’s 100s have been on Australian ‘roads’

Steve Smith and Joe Root are the world's premier Test batsmen

Fair bit of hypocrisy here……Australia played NZ in test cricket in 1946/47……..then not again until 1973. The reason being that Australia didn’t consider New Zealand good enough. During that time NZ regularly played all the other test nations. So I don’t agree that Australia has done their best to improve NZ sport. You haven’t played NZ for 5 years in test cricket…..they are practically next door. How many tests have you played against India and England in the same time. …….it’s all about money and gate takings. I grew up in NZ and in the 70s and 80s NSW and QLD regularly played NZ provinces. Who was benefitting from that………..Not NZ. They already had the strongest provincial rugby in the world. Why should NZ do anything to improve Australian rugby……..NZ rugby owes Australia nothing.

Wallabies must improve: Cheika

Coach of the year award is purely political. NZ won all the other awards. Hansen lost one game in the rugby calendar year (since last years award) and won a World Cup…..and completely out coached Chieka in the final.

Is Australia being Cheika-mated?

To me it showed the team that lost to NZ was vastly superior to the team that lost to Australia……maybe an omen for the final.

Springboks comfortably trump Pumas to claim third place

What are you smoking……..Scotland have never beaten the All Blacks and usually don’t get within 20 points……Australia win by a dodgy last minute penalty and you say that performance entitles you to favouritism. One more thing……..your incredible defence. Well the WBs missed 33 tackles against Argentina…….the ABs missed 3 against SA. Yes you have good pilferers……..but who are your ball runners……….who are your off loaders……..NZ are well deserved favourites.

Michael Cheika on the brink of three international coaching records

Yep that’s right the All Blacks are all cheats…….and the Wallabies all have halos over their heads. It doesn’t matter if the AllBlacks win by 50 people like you will find a way to take the credit away from them. Your are like Rod Kafer and Phiil Kearns you see what you want to see. When the All Blacks infringe in their own 22 they are cheats who deserve to be yellow carded….when the Wallabies do it…..it’s brave defence…..or the only option the player had in that situation.

Can I suggest when you watch the final you remove your green and gold tinted glasses.

Owens to referee World Cup decider

A lot of you are claiming Pocock is better than McCaw. To this I say rubbish. In fact I think Pocock is a very good player but not a great one. He is a fantastic pilferer…….best in the world. But when you think about it Pocock is primarily a defensive player. He doesn’t link particularly well with his backline…….has no running or off load game …….isn’t particularly quick. Infact McCaw surpasses him in all aspects of the game except pilfering which is not the only skill a 7 needs. Pocock can be very influential on a game……..but at times is not influential at all. In most of McCaws 147 tests he has been one of the best players on the pitch……on many occasions the best. For consistency McCaw kills Pocock and probably surpasses any other player in any position in history in this regard.

Rugby World Cup final marks the end of an era

Australia haven’t even won their quarter yet…….let alone their semi…..which in my opinion will be against a very fired up and very good Argentinian team. So it’s a bit early to lock in an ANZAC final. The ABs may not beat SA either.

All Blacks blitz through France in record-breaking style

Woodcock angling in………hypocrisy……..did Scott Sio scrum straight once last night…..no not once……..Ledesma has taught Australia how to cheat

Any colour you want, as long as it's All Black

You have to be joking…….Sio bored in in every single scrum……something Kafer eluded to. If the All Blacks concede penalties to the Wallabies while they are attacking your commentators start crying and labelling the ABs as cheats. Yet the wallabies do it get 2 deserved yellow cards and the commentators don’t mention the blatantly cynical play of the wallabies……the word hypocrisy springs to mind. The wallabies definitely got the rub of the green when it came to refereeing decisions.

Five talking points from the Wallabies' win over Wales

I think Ledesma has done wonders with the wallaby scrum. He has taught them how to cheat. Sio did not scrum straight once in this game. Last week there were calls about Marlers cheating. From what I can see now that the refs have this idea in their heads that the wallaby scrum is reasonable those 50/50 calls go Australia’s way. Even Rod Kafer made a comment about him not scrumming straight. There is a lot of euphoria about this performance. I think it is misplaced. Sure Australia will beat Scotland but if they met the Boks or ABs they would struggle on this performance. The backline alignment at times was way to deep. If the ABs had beaten Wales in this fashion and not scored a try the world’s press would be slagging them off…..instead the media here are making out this is a great win. Let’s remember a few things…….Wales haven’t beaten the ABs since 1953……..they have been decimated by injury……..Gareth Anscombe at fullback……really give me a break….an average Super15 player at best. Wales are simply not that good.

Wallabies win a triumph of guts, determination, and plenty of luck

Interesting that Spiro wrote earlier in the week how the English tend to over rate their own players. Well one could accuse Australia of the same. This match could easily go either way. Australia are not as strong as some of you make out. Mediocre locks……mediocre halfback / fly half combo. I don’t think the bench is as strong as some of you make out. Beale is a defensive liability. Your last game against decent opposition ended in the Aussies coping a hiding. Since then you’ve had 3 unimpressive wins against minnow nations. I’m not sure where all this confidence is coming from.

If I had to put the sheep station on it……I’d pick England to win.

The win over England will lead us to the finals

NMS is a specialist fullback. When Corey Jane was fit he played fullback for the Canes. Infact when interviewed today about making the squad he said he was ‘still learning how to play on the wing’ so he sees himself as more of a fullback than a winger. Having said that I would have liked them to take Dagg.

20 days to go: The Roar counts down to the Rugby World Cup

I think you are misinformed…….many many Samoan players are born and bred Kiwis. For example Tim Nania-Williams had never been to Samoa before flying over to play for Samoa against the All Blacks. I don’t have the figures but it is my understanding that the majority of the 2011 Samoan squad were NZ born and bred. The hypocrisy is that NZ get accused of poaching players!!! Now Gareth Anscombe is playing for Wales a number of KIwis have represented British sides purely on the basis of grand parentage…………its a joke!!! Manyt Aussies and KIwis would have a UK born grandparent it shouldn’t mean they can play for a country they have never lived in apart from one season playing rugby. Its actually not fair on the young players from that home country.
