This same psalm was the triumph song of the Fijian sevens team that won gold at the Rio Olympics in 2016. ‘Eda sa qaqa’ or ‘we have overcome’ which is a proclamation of the grace and mercy the islanders receive daily.

The NRC has shown us how to improve the Wallabies. Will we listen?

Roar,

I am an avid follower of Roar especially your rugby stories. Thank for the great coverage of Australian rugby.
I was very surprised about the coverage of the Fijian Drua team or the lack of it, when and during the playoffs. It seems like to me that the flow of stories was lacking and I was surprised that even though the Fijian side was a part of the NRC competition, all of a sudden nobody seemed to do previews of the team or reports of their matches when during the semifinals.
Even though we are visitors to the NRC for the second season, the benefits have been tremendous for the Fijian team.
On the other side of the coin as you succinctly worded in your latest post that the learning and benefits are mutual. We are learning as we play and some of the playing habits that we are accustomed to maybe areas that you can gleam from.
But all in all please keep the stories flowing whether it is Australian or Fijian teams, because in the end the competition is Australian and when you stifle one part of your body, Fiji Drua is an appendage now, you are in fact crippling the whole body.
Vinaka.
